Douglas Margerum, CPM received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland in 1970 with majors in Personnel Management and Economics. He also attended American University for real estate studies. Mr. Margerum received his Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management in 1972 and holds a Maryland Real Estate Brokers' License.

It only took 2 weeks for my 2 voicemails to be returned. Finally. Only to find out that my issue has not and will not be addressed. Terrible professionalism, customer service, and they never respond in a reasonable time. They do not accommodate their renters by any means and are just money hungry people. Very dismissive and not willing to help or do anything. Before you say “unfortunately”, can you maybe address the issue first or the acknowledge that I called you and left a voicemail.

I've never felt the need to leave such a terrible review, however, my experience with Cove Property Management has produced one of the most distressing moving experiences in my life filled with financial and emotional strife. For the readers, I would like to point out that this situation was not the result of any simple miscommunication. Before I agreed to signing the lease, I very clearly and deliberately discussed my desire to move into the unit with an unobscured view of the city. Cove is an absolute top notch property management company. They care about both their employees and their residents, are loyal and fair, and just overall good people. It is very obvious in the way they run their company. Their properties are well taken care of and constantly being made even better. I am incredibly thankful to be able to work with them.

Absolutely horrible property management. Cove took over management of our community from Bozzuto which was wonderful. Cove simply takes the rent and books it for the new owner. That's their property management contribution. I put in a request for a simple fix of a towel bar that fell off the wall over a week ago. The property managers response is that "it should only take 2-3 days, but we have a lot of catch up to do" . I've worked for property management companies and been a property manager in the past myself. This one is not one I'd recommend at all.
