We look forward to contributing a valuable service to improve the lives of the animals and families in our beautiful county. Feel free to read about our owners and staff. Dr. Kerry Wink is a native West Texan from Marathon, TX which is located near Alpine/Big Bend National Park area. After attending Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Dr. Wink graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002.
When possible please call our office before using to make sure your pet's situation will be helped and not harmed by these treatments. These home treatments are meant for times when you are unable to bring your pet in. They ARE NOT meant to take the place of the veterinarian's exam or diagnosis. Remove food bowl and water bowl.
Fleas & Ticks are a year round problem. Of course the problem gets worse in warmer weather. Along with being a nuisance, fleas & ticks can cause skin problems and other serious conditions such as tape worm infestations. We recommend all pets in a household be on a flea and/or tick control program year-round.

Dr Kerry is the absolute best. Loves all animals and just wants to do his community and anyone else who sets an appointment a service. If anyone finds this animal hospital/vet that doesn't happen to be in West TX and you're looking for someone trustworthy and affordable, it's worth any amount of driving or flying to take your precious babies here.

Dr Wink really knows his stuff. My Rottweiler was crippled up on three of her legs and just miserable. Dr Wink told me what dog food to put her on, & supplements & now this dog is running around with my puppy without any problems. She's like a whole new dog. It's over a hundred mile drive for me but my babies come first & most people don't post it but Garza County Vets prices are real reasonable. A 10th of what you'll pay in Lubbock.
