Dr. David Resnick and Dr. Debra Ettle committed to helping you with your oral health and stand behind the work that they do. Dr's Resnick and Ettle perform a variety of procedures ranging from aiding you with your oral hygiene to orthodontics and dental implants. They utilize an i-Cat 3D cone beam imaging machine to digitally map out your mouth.
Following your filling appointment if an anesthetic has been used, your lips, tongue and cheek may be numb for several hours after the appointment. Avoid chewing and hot beverages until the numbness has completely worn off. It is very easy to bite or burn your tongue or lip while you are numb. It is normal to experience some hot, cold & pressure sensitivity after your appointment.
Unfortunately, dental bondings, composite resin fillings (tooth colored fillings) and old crowns cannot be bleached. Fillings that have discolored indicate that they are either leaking or have secondary decay, so it is best to replace them. A better choice may be to replace them with porcelain laminate/veneers for longer lasting results.

Having a smile you love can increase your confidence and boost your self-image.
In the past, cavities could only be treated with unsightly metal fillings that are alloys for silver and mercury. These fillings, especially when close to the front of the mouth, are highly noticeable and unaesthetic. Sometimes, the filling is so large that it causes discoloration of the entire tooth.

The dentist and anesthesiologist David is incompetent and should never have gotten his license for anesthesia. I was given a general anesthetic and 10 seconds later my worst fear came true as I lay there fully conscious and able to feel my teeth ripped out of my mouth. The pain was excruciating, I was bawling the whole time trying to tell him with whatever noise I would make with a spreader in my mouth that I was awake and eventually he stopped and asked if I was conscious and having pain as if it wasn't obvious. Had to have some work done today, and I HATE going to the dentist. I can honestly say the women who dealt with me today were angels! They got me in quick (it was an emergency), gave me my options and even as I cried a bit and hyperventilated some, they did their best to keep me calm and got me through it as painlessly as possible. They are professional, kind, and extremely understanding.

I am so grateful I found Prairie Dental Center! I feel like I have a whole team on my side to help me take care of my teeth. I've been over a dozen times and each time everyone is polite, helpful and gracious. I also love Dr. Resnick's sense of humor. Though my mouth is always open and I can't laugh!

Everyone there is so rude staff was laughing @ me behind my back staff kept interrupting the dentist every time she was performing something on my front tooth i ask for my dental records and the dentist response if I was in a hurry they will take 2 to 3 days we’ll she could of just said that at first by that time I definitely just wanted to get out of there I felt Violated i went up to the front desk to pay but I ask for my dental record again for what was done to my tooth because they just lost me as a Patient. Everyone there is just running around.

Procedure was quick and easier than expected. The dentist was literally yelling at me and other staff were very rude also and didn't seem to like me asking questions. Overall I didn't feel comfortable here. A lot of run around and misinformation on the phone regarding insurance. I doubt I'll be returning.

They got me in as soon as possible. My appointment was actually moved up a day. Steph was very friendly and professional, she made me feel relaxed which was nice. The dentist did a fine job as well. When I arrived the receptionist was ok for the most part, everyone can have an off day... The receptionist when I was leaving seemed friendlier. Overall a good experience. A bit of a drive but I can't complain about that.
