Essential Hair Salon & Therapeutic Massage

Felicia is an amazing massage therapist and individual. She is very personable and ensures you are comfortable. I love how she checks in on applied pressure to sensitive areas. I highly recommend her for massage therapy. Lastly, most therapist will end your session at the hour mark, Felicia will finish working on your body until everything is completed.

I’ve been coming to Essential for almost 3 years now for a monthly therapeutic massage and Amy is amazing. Initially coming in with a sports injury, she helped me get back to where I needed to be. Since then, I’ve come in with specific pains and just for the rest & relaxation and Amy has never disappointed. The pricing is also very fair and well worth it. Highly recommend!

This is the first time I’ve ever written a review anywhere, but does this business actually exist? I’ve tried numerous times to contact Felicia the massage therapist and the business phone number listed on the website and not once has anyone answered. I wouldn’t waste my time if I wasn’t gifted a Groupon, but I don’t want the senders of the gift to completely waste their money on a potential scam. I apologize if this lack of communication they seemingly cannot provide is covid related but something has to give.

Stephanie did color on my hair and cut . It looked great. No one has been able to get my hair the blonde color i want in a very long time! And the hair cut and style was great also! I’ll be going back soon. I highly recommend her!!!

If I could give Stephanie less than one star, I would for her lack of professionalism and customer service skills alone. I bought a groupon for lash extensions and a fill. I made an appointment for my birthday and she cancelled it. I made another appointment and she texted me to change the time. I should have seen these as red flags. After the service was completed, I bought the lash bond strengthener she sold me ($20) and set my appointment for 3 weeks later. The lashes had all fallen out within a little over a week. I go see Amy Elizabeth Backlas the massage therapist for my pregnancy massages and she always knows what will "fix" my muscles to make me feel better! Going from no sleep because of burning pain in my hips from pinched nerves every night to sleeping like a rock, I make Amy my go-to for any kind of work I need! Thank you Amy!

I have been going Melissa for years for massages and am impressed every time! She is very professional and makes you feel so relaxed. She takes time to listen to what is bothering you and always focuses on what you need, I always leave feeling great! This new place is wonderful, very relaxing environment! They are flexible with their times and willing to work with you to schedule an appointment at a time that works for you!!

Cari does my hair and my girls hair as well. Always honest when I ask her what she thinks I should do with my hair and does an excellent job with the cut and color. I leave always a satisfied customer. I've been going to Cari for years! The shop is beautiful! I feel like I'm at right at home whenever I go in! 😊

UPDATE (October 2017):
Here we are, 6 months from when I started seeing Melissa. I still work very hard physically at my job. Were it not for Melissa putting me back together every week, I would not have survived the season! As it is, I have become much stronger and am in better shape than I was 25 years ago! I was in desperate need of a massage due to the extreme physical activity involved in my job. I ended up seeing Melissa for a 90-minute deep tissue massage. She worked wonders! I was barely able to walk in the morning
