She learned from the best there, and found that she truly enjoyed the path she was on. However, she wanted to work a little closer to home. In 2010, Sara began the business adventure that truly began her shaping as a devoted stylist. Renting a chair at a salon that was filled with stylists who treated their customers like friends seemed to be the best fit.
After a few more trips around the sun, a hiatus, and another chair at an equally friendly salon, it was time to blossom. SM Hair Studio was born in the fall of 2016. A cozy 4 chair salon with a warm and inviting atmosphere felt like the dream had come true. But the location didn't stick quite as Sara had imagined.

I recently chose SM Hair Studio to host my bridal party the morning of my wedding, and it was everything that I wanted it to be! I had a great time with my family and friends while drinking champagne and listening to music at Sara’s salon. It was a really fun and calming place to get ready for such an exciting day. My decision was based on past experience, services they offer, fair pricing, convenience, quality of work, and I am close friends with the owner, Sara. She and I worked together at my updo trial, as well as the day-of, to create just the look I wanted for my winter wedding. Sara catered
