Humboldt Haus is a 100% family business. We believe in our mission and values just as strongly today as we did the first time than 19 years ago. Staying true to them will guide us toward continued growth for years to come. Humboldt Haus was established in 1998 to provide an alternative accommodation for events, celebrations, receptions and local parties.
We are also have available our menu of various cuisines that are available for your dining pleasure and tailored specifically for your event and taste. We are eager to assist you with helpful ideas in planning the wedding menu that you wish to offer your guests. Humboldt Haus has full bar licenses and can offer beverages, non-alcoholic and alcoholic as well as Cappuccino/Espresso bars, etc.
Humboldt Haus is a multi-purpose hall available for rent for your Green Bay event. Our spacious hall provides the same type of atmosphere as a hotel meeting hall at a cost that's friendly to your budget. Our Ballroom with capacity for 300 people is equipped with their own private entrances and are beautifully decorated with high ceilings, their own stages, elegant lighting, and so much more.

We had a great year last year with our event. This year went well, but my family and I are saddened that we were blamed for a large crack on a post that was not done by us. My husband repaired that free of charge because we just don't want to deal with it anymore. I hope you inspect your building better next time. To all future customers, please perform a walkthrough such as when renting an apartment, for your sake and Janet's. This will be our last year renting this venue.

I am a photographer, that has attended many events in many venues, of course there are pro and cons, I have never complained. #humbolthausGreenbay can be a beautiful place for any event sure!! However, please do your research, check reviews before head-out to the place. Main thing: poor poor customer service that needs to be improved. (rolled eyes, fingers in the water pitcher. Thousand of dollars shouldn't be treated this way.) Second: dishonesty from the manager herself. (price of drinks and/or price for table never accurate as agreement) and will never be informed until the day of your

DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE! They will charge you extra for every little thing. The owner tried to change the cost of table clothes from $4 to $6 per table and charged an extra fee to go get them. Tried to charge us for tap water. You will get charged for extra security, extra bartenders. The contract will not show any of these fees. Didnt take out trash. Bathrooms were clogged and didnt fix them for 40 mins after being notified multiple times. Staff is very rude. Asked for ice water in a pitcher and the owner pushed the ice in with her fingers. Great experience. Staff was friendly, helpful and eager to help all guests. If you are torn between a barn wedding and an inside event, the rustic charm of this down to earth family run banquet hall should be on your list. They handled 250 guests for a family style wedding reception and did it well. They are flexible with special requests and had plenty of staff on hand from start to finish. I will say if you are expecting a 5 star "pinky-in-the-air" wedding experience than this is not for you. - The contracts are inaccurate and meaningless. Does not go with anything you agree on. Always read the contract before signing! (My mistake for trusting this horrible place)
- Talked multiple times about beverages and prices, etc but was never informed that I had to pay for drinking tap water until two weeks before my wedding ($3 a pitcher or $5 unlimited refills only during dinner for tap water) or $1.50 per bottled water
- When I was first informed of the water issue, me and 3 other people that were there, heard her quote me $1.25 per water bottle. Later on she said it was $1.50 but NO WHERE
