Services
Dr. Redd has been a Dentist for over 20 years providing caring services to patients in North Carolina and Virginia and beyond. She is a 1991 graduate of Virginia Polytechnic University & State Institution after 3 1/2 years with a B.S. degree in Biology. She received her D.D.S. degree in 1996 from the Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia.
Rodrick is very versatile serving in multiple capacities for the practice administratively as well as his ability to serve in a clinical capacity as DA II. His quiet demeanor and professional courteous manner has facilitated patients for many years in achieving many goals from dental services to working with insurance plans on their behalf.
Dr. Redd has provided specialized dental care to thousands of families. Our patients come from around the block, fromaround the state and even across state linesto experience the warm, personal care we provide. Oral hygiene is the practice of keeping the mouth and teeth clean in order to prevent dental problems and bad breath.
We feel that our patients deserve the best dental care we can provide. We also feel that everyone benefits when definite financial arrangements are agreed upon prior to the start of treatment. Payment is expected at the time of service for any charges not covered by insurance. This could include deductible amounts, co-pay amounts or fees and services not covered by your insurance carrier.
Our office is open Monday through Thursday and some select Fridays with hours that can accommodate most schedules. We know that your time is important, and we work to ensure that your visit happens as professionally and quickly as possible. Dental emergencies are never convenient or timely. If you are a current patient, and have a dental emergency outside regular office hours, please call 336-286-2400 and choose option 4.

Dr. Tanya Redd is the BEST dentist that I have ever had. She is very talented and has a wonderful chair-side manner. She works with precision and efficiency. During the Pandemic she hasn't missed a beat. Her office has very high standards and is COVID compliant. I have referred her to extended family and friends. Dr Redd and Rod make every experience I have had with them positive. She has been my dentist for almost 18 years.
She is professional, up to date and truly cares about me, my health, safety and comfort. Dr Redd and Rod work very hard to make sure the office and equipment is clean and sanitized. I did have a good experience with Dr Redd office until Dec, 2020. My daughter went in to have some work completed, Dr Redd called me afterward to let me know because my daughter was late, she could not complete all of the work. I completely understood. She indicated she would contact me if there were any openings before the new year. I had already paid for the service, so I said that was fine. Well when I called in January to set up the appointment to have the work completed, I was informed that in my daughter notes, all the work had been completed- everyone acted as if I was crazy and that the

My family has been coming to Dr Redd Family Dentistry since 2000. We're treated like 'family' each and every time. Rod is always kind, courteous and professional handling appointments and squeezing us in when he can. I recently had an emergency situation with a crown. Dr Redd was able to get my issue resolved quickly and to my full satisfaction. I wouldn't think about going anywhere else. They are truly a blessing to our community!!!

Dr. Redd and her staff are excellent. I was worried about returning to the dentist during the virus outbreak but Dr. Redd's safety protocols made me feel comfortable and safe. Upon returning to Redd Family Dentistry for my regular 6 month check up since the pandemic outbreak, I felt very comfortable after seeing the various precautions and procedures in place to help ensure patient safety. Rodrick, who is initial point of contact, as usual provided prompt, courteous assistance. Dr Redd was thorough and attentive. This team is outstanding. They have patient wellbeing at the forefront and demonstrate excellence in dental care provision. I have been a patient of this practice since it opened and I cannot imagine going anywhere else.

I felt very comfortable coming to Redd Family Dentistry for my 6 month cleaning. I liked the phone call I received to screen me before I arrived for my appointment. Once I arrived, I was able to come right in after my temperature was taken. I love the fact the Dr. Redd thought of enough of her patients and staff to install an air filtration system.
