Team Care is a McKenzie Clinic, one of only a handful in the United States and the only McKenzie Diplomat Trained certified clinic in North Carolina. The McKenzie Method is the gold standard in physical therapy, providing patients a long-term solution. Team Care was established in 2000 by Jon Weinberg, PT, MDT Diplomat, MCSP, with the goal of providing the highest level of patient-focused care.
Since 2000, Team Care has gained both local and national recognition and is frequently called upon by medical institutions and practitioners to assist in their most challenging cases. Jon Weinberg trained in the United Kingdom at the Royal London Hospital School of Physiotherapy (now the School of Health, Sport, and Bioscience) based at the University of East London.

I highly recommend Jon and Team Care PT! I'd had serious knee and back pain that would come and go for 10+ years, and Jon was able to diagnose the underlying issue within the first 10 minutes and have me feeling better after a single session. A couple additional sessions got me prepared to do exercises on my own, and I'm now training for a half marathon and feeling great!

I was referred to Team Care PT by my orthopedic doctor for pains in my lower back, which came on from standing or walking for just 10-15 minutes. Jon Weinberg and his staff, including Dave the Dog, were both welcoming and effective. They assessed my condition and then prescribed specific exercises and stretches that I could do on my own. Over a few weeks, what had been a rather debilitating back pain was reduced to an occasional annoyance, which I could easily relieve by doing just a few seconds of the prescribed stretches. I highly recommend Team Care. They helped me dramatically improve my quality

I was referred Jon Weinberg (he came highly recommended) for problems with my lower back and sciatica issues that I had been experiencing for over 6 months. I was told to go to a Chiropractor or perhaps a message and thankfully I didn’t. Under his care and after about 6 sessions, the pain and numbness in my back and leg is now completely gone and non existent. Thank you Jon for your help! I’m forever grateful!

Jon is not your typical doctor, picture a buff guy with tats and a pit bull (Dave) LOL. His goal is not to milk you for money to have you keep coming in because he is the only one who can make you feel better. Instead he teaches you how to take care of your pain independently through exercises. I could not recommend him more, he really is an exceptional PT.

Jon's approach is much better than what I've seen from other physical therapists. Every appointment is one on one, and the time is spent actually evaluating your progress and remaining issues. He takes the time to verify that his evaluation of the problem is correct with actual experiments. Not only does my back feel great, but I feel like I'm well equipped to identify future problems early and correct them on my own before they turn into a real injury. Couldn't be happier - thanks!

Jon has treated me for back issues a couple of times over the years and always gets me back in good shape. He is a terrific physical therapist, clearly enjoys what he does and the people he works with. I'm grateful for all he has done to get me back to being pain free and even back on the golf course!

Six months with unrelenting back pain. X-rays, Cat Scan, MRI all pointed to multiple problems. Spine doctor suggested trying PT before surgery. Did not believe PT could help with arthritis and herniated discs but agreed to gut it a try. One visit and pain level dropped to barely noticeable. Several visits later and pain gone, flexibility improved 100%, playing tennis and volleyball again. I and all my friends are in awe of the results from performing three or four simple routines daily.

I was referred to the Cary office by my primary care physician. I made an appointment, arrived and ultimately cancelled the appointment because of a lack of professionalism in my first experience with Team Care.
