I was lucky enough to grow up in Telluride, CO where I received my first acupuncture treatment at age 15. In 2007 I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado in Boulder. I began my four years of study at Southwest Acupuncture College immediately after.
While in school I began an apprenticeship at the office of Aloha Wellness under a world-renowned local acupuncturist who practices the Japanese style of Oriental medicine, Dr. Jeffrey Dann. I graduated with a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine in 2011 and now own White Peony Acupuncture. I am board certified as a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine Dipl.

Services
It is best to receive acupuncture when you have something in your stomach but are not too full. That gives us more energy to work with. Please wear loose clothing that will make it easier to access the points. Drink plenty of water before and after your treatment. Your first treatment will last 90 minutes.
Acupuncture is the insertion of extremely fine needles into the skin to gently manipulate the body's energy into harmony and balance. Sarah offers acupuncture, facial rejuvenation, hot stone massage, tui na and shiatsu massage, moxa, herbal therapy, electrical stimulation, cupping, and Oriental nutritional counseling.

Sarah is a highly-skilled, gentle, and versatile acupuncturist. Her healing and wellness skills are lovely and highly recommended. I've been seeing her for 7 years (since 2013). She regularly trains in Japan and has a comprehensive set of treatments to compliment the acupuncture, including herbs, supplements, cupping, Moxa, and wellness/healing consulting. She sees clients in her Boulder office as well as virtually.

Sarah has been my acupuncturist for four years. I have seen her for treatment on a weekly basis, and her positive impact on my health has been amazing. She's a gifted caregiver and a wonderful person. She partners with her patients in helping them find ways to overcome disease and injury, and offers treatments that give one's body the ability to heal. During the time I have been Sarah's patient, I have dealt with both injury and disease. I had a serious bicycle crash with multiple pelvis fractures, and the threat of liver disease. In these cases and others, Sarah's treatment
