McKenzie Spinal Treatment: McKenzie Spinal Assessment and Treatment - we are certified in mechanical diagnosis and therapy by the McKenzie Institute, a leader in the treatment and prevention of spinal injury.
Maresca Physical Therapy is owned by Michael Maresca. After graduating from Iolani School and Gonzaga University, Mike received his Masters of Physical Therapy from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in 1996. He is certified in mechanical diagnosis and therapy by the McKenzie Institute and has training in treatment of chronic pain conditions such as Fibromyalgia and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS).
We first met Mike when he was referred by my wife's Orthopedic Surgeon to help her recover from hip replacement surgery. She responded well to his gentle guidance, and thoughtful persistence and she liked him so much, she requested him as her therapist after having her second hip replacement a year later.
What should I wear to my appointment? Clothing appropriate for a gym setting is best; particularly clothing that allows easy access to the body part we are treating. Will my insurance pay for physical therapy? When a patient is referred by a doctor, most insurances cover physical therapy treatments.
