Q: Do I need a prescription from my doctor in order for my insurance to pay for treatment?
You no longer need a medical practitioner to sign a prescription in order for your insurance to cover physical therapy services. However, please note that health insurance companies still require a signed prescription from your physician for reimbursement of treatments. If you are seeing us without a prescription, we will work with you and your insurance company from the initial diagnosis and evaluation through the progress reports.
Kahua Pa'a Adult Learners for those who are involved in High School Diploma Equivalency Program in selected Kamehameha Schools communities. Ke Ali'I Pauahi Foundation Scholarship Recipients (KAPF) for merit and/or need-based scholarship awardees. Yoshimoto Physical Therapy has partnered with numerous universities to provide a clinical site for graduate physical therapy students.

Yoshimoto Physical Therapy has been our family physical therapy go to. As a family of athletes, our bodies takes a lot of beatings.
