Here at Alafaya Pediatric Dentistry, we are proud to specialize in pediatric dentistry. We believe in starting children off right when it comes to their dental health. Dr. Aliotti was born in Maryland and lived in Georgia prior to moving to South Florida where she graduated from Deerfield Beach High School. Her mother, sisters, and brother still live in the South Florida area. Dr. Aliotti attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate degree and dental school.
Molly McDoodle is a friendly goldendoodle who is currently working at Alafaya Pediatric Dentistry. She brings smiles and comfort to our patients during the day and is the Dr. A's family pup at night. Therapy dogs have been shown to reduce stress and anxiety and can be Molly a loving companion for our patients.

So happy to have found Alafaya Pediatric Dentistry! They were able to see both of my children at the same time for a sibling visit. I had called other dentists where they wouldn’t do this (see them at the same time or one after the other). Being able to go back with my children was also important to me. It was my daughters first dentist appointment and my son has anxiety around doctors/dentists appointments. I had called other places and most weren’t allowing parents or siblings back during the visit.

We had a great experience with Alafaya Pediatric Dentistry. All of the staff are kind and welcoming. We were referred there for fillings and a tooth extraction that we were told (by our dental office) would have to be done under IV sedation. The owners and pediatric dentist at Alafaya Pediatric Dentistry were willing to try with nitrous oxide and it was a success. The pediatric dentist was very patient with Aedan (who is on the spectrum) and Diana the assistant was great. She even got Aedan a blanket to keep him warm and help keep his hands tucked in. I can not begin to describe how amazing this facility is. From my first interaction , to every single visit since then , they have made us feel so comfortable. Jamie truly listened and was able to schedule us for an appointment as soon as possible. They make it so easy to schedule an appointment , and once you do you want regret it. All of the staff members treat my children like their own. my son has had two fillings to far and I am so pleased with the experience. The Dr really connects with the patients and keeps them calm. they have TVs on the ceilings so the kids are entertained from beginning

This place is great! The staff is friendly and my child was fine during the procedure. My child was nervous but the staff was awesome. A big pro here is that they took my dental insurance. Many pediatric dentists don't take dental insurance.
Con:
My only con is the hours they are open. They are closed on Fridays and don't do procedures after 2pm. They said kids are cranky/tired after 2pm so that's the reason behind their rule so I guess it makes sense.

I was scared.. i will admit just like most parents we fear our kids won't open their mouths or are terrified to pieces of the dentist. Alafaya pediatric dentistry took all the fear away as soon as we walked in the door. They are absolutely amazing with kids! My daughter (who's 4) did not want to lay in the chair so we sat on the bench and she laid in my lap as the dentist looked at her teeth. With the patience of saints they managed to find a plan for my daughter. I'm forever grateful and the best part? (At least for mom) is they charge you before seeing you so the cost isn't allowed to go up.

This is a very lovely establishment. I will start with the front desk. When I called to make my appointment, the service was quick, informative and friendly. I was told what to expect and that is exactly what happened. The establishment is very clean and it was obvious that a sanitary establishment was paramount for the staff. Upon arrival, temperatures were taken and we were called back almost immediately. The tech was patient and kind. My children both responded well to their cleanings while watching Frozen. Dr A has seen both my kids (21 months and 3 years old). She is kind, patient, and knowledgeable. She does not recommend expensive treatments that your child does not need. James, the office manager always greets us with a smile and we love the therapy dog, Molly. Their hygienist is fantastic. I actually pay out of pocket rather than use my dental insurance just to come here. The office is immaculate and very kid friendly. I hope to bring my boys here for years to come.

We felt right at home. Our experience was like that of the good ole days...when people cared about the customer. The service was great, and the environment was warm and welcoming. My children came to appointment with serious anxieties, but the visit turned out pleasurable. The therapy dog added the final touch. Thank you. We look forward to our next visit.

We love Dr. Aliotti and her team. Everyone is very helpful and nice. Dr. Aliotti takes her time explaining the treatment plan and answer all your questions and concerns.
Jamie, is very knowledgeable and he can give you all the details with the insurance. He is super nice.
Stephanie is always very pleasant and very sweet with all the kids and the parents.
I have been to 2 different pediatric dentist before and I have to say that the Doctors were great but their staff not so much.

I must say I was VERY impressed with how things are done at this pediatric dentist. From the very beginning speaking with James the front desk rep was amazing and very helpful in scheduling an appointment for my daughter as this would be her first time ever to the dentist. He ensured I was in network with my insurance and was upfront about any copays I may have. The office is very cute (kid friendly) and also very clean. Check in was very fast as we did fill out all paperwork from home. As we all know a first time visit to the dentist for a 3 year old could be very scary but everyone here made

Dr. A and the staff at Alafaya Pediatric Dentistry are absolutely amazing! Always a pleasant experience. They are so incredible with kids. Always patient with my boys and they work quickly and efficiently (which we all know is necessary with little ones!) Please don’t bother going anywhere else. I’ve been to at least 3 different pediatric dental offices in central Florida and none compare to APD!

Alafaya Pediatric Dentistry is the first time my son has not hated going to the dentist. The care they take into making sure the kids enjoy the visit is top notch. From walking into the waiting room and be greeted to the care that the whole teams take with the kids is great. My son loves the TVs on the ceiling and has no problem allowing them to poke around his mouth cause he can just zone out on Netflix. The flavor menu is something my son enjoys and looks forward to picking from for his cleaning. I am glad we found this office and plan on coming for the years to come.

It was my daughter's first dentist appointment and everyone in the clinic made her feel comfortable. She even got a chance to interact with their therapy dog in training! I loved how good everyone was with children and how they did not push her too hard when she was scared with one part of the experience. She left there asking if we were coming back tomorrow.

We called about our children experiencing tooth pain and they were able to squeeze us in the same day for two exams even though it was late in the day. Everyone was very nice and helped our children through their anxiousness. They helped shape the treatments to ensure the costs were manageable. They handled the Covid procedures well, maintaining masks on for staff and patients and temperature checks. Overall we're impressed so far and plan to bring our kids back for their next treatment and future exams.

I love Alafaya Pediatric Dentistry. All of the staff was friendly and with worked well with all 7 of my kids. They did a great job with my kids teeth cleaning. Two of my kids had to have cavities filled. The doctor worked her magic and was able to help them not be anxious. She was able to do the fillings with little to no drama. This office also has a therapy dog in training to help calm anxious kids. I highly recommend this pediatric dentist.

Today was my kids (12 and 5 yrs old) first visit with Alafaya Pediatric Dentist. It was fantastic! I was more nervous than the kids. The staff, every single one of them - from the front desk to the doctor herself - was on point and perfect. They talked with compassion and care to the kids (and me as well). They explained everything to the kids and myself. I can't say a single negative thing about this establishment. If you have kids and are worried about that they may freak out with a dentist appointment. I am here to say, have no worries. This office treated my kids like they were their own

I found this Pediatric dentist on line for my 5 year old daughter who needed a tooth pulled. The dentist we went to previous was a general dentist and tried really hard pull my 5 year olds tooth, however when the needle came out my daughter flipped. It was hard to hold her down, she pushed the neeedle out of the Dr's hands and that's when the Dr. said he wouldn't be able to continue. He advised for us to go to a pediatric dentist where they have the supplies to handle this type of procedure. I was given a few referrals, however I decided to check on line anyway. That's when

First time visiting and just loved the place. We found the most heartfelt caring people who welcomed us right in and even offered coffee or water. They had a place for kids to play why they wait. When we went we didn't have a wait ! They where ready for us! Great Job guys . We will return with all of our kids.😁
