Includes session fee, travel within an hour of Portland, editing, and online viewing gallery only. No digital files included in the session fee price. Digital files, a la carte items, and product packages at a discount are available at an additional cost.
I really want to talk about my passion for print, because in this digital era of swiping and forgetting the photos you saw just yesterday, print is not always considered. A printed photograph engages the senses and feels more, you hold it carefully or you hang it on a wall and it means more, and the ones that are printed, are the ones you're going to remember and become part of your legacy.
There are a lot of black & white photos on your website, what if I don't like black and white? Don't get me wrong, black and white can call up an emotion or save an image from distracting or bad color. When there are repetitive images, I'll turn one black and white and keep the other color. But if you don't love black and white, no worries, I'm happy to edit all your photos in color.

Kelly is such an amazing photographer! She is so skilled at capturing heartfelt moments in such an authentic way. Her photography is unique and stunningly beautiful. Kelly photographed our wedding and did what would take four hours in two. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a talented, friendly, personable photographer who really knows their craft. We've done two family photoshoots with Kelly—one when our baby was 6 mo, and again at 18 mo. My favorite thing about Kelly's photography is her eye for lighting. She captures such beautiful serene images—even though taking photos with a toddler is anything but serene :) She was helpful at giving direction to capture the right shots and at getting a LOT done in what feels like a short time. She was also super understanding and flexible when we had to reschedule multiple times due to Covid concerns and then the fires.

We had an all around great experience with Kelly at June Lion Photography. She was extremely responsive and clear from the beginning, and very understanding when there was a chance we would need to reschedule. More than that, she went out of her way to make us feel comfortable during the shoot, kept us laughing, and even kept our doggos engaged (the stars of the show!) the entire time! Not to mention we loved our photos. We would highly recommend her for all photo events!

My wife and I have used Kelly for a couple of big marker moments in our life. She did our wedding several years ago and have loved her work ever since. Most recently we did a family session with our daughter and every time thee work is great and she is so fun to have as a photographer and plan to keep her busy in the future. Kelly did our wedding 7 years ago and it was magical! For Christmas my parents got us a session with her. My husband and I were so excited because we now have a 2 year old daughter and try to do a photo shoot with her around her birthday in February so it was perfect! It was very special having Kelly capture the start of our family in 2013 and now having her photograph the 3 of us. She was able to get moments of our wiggly gal that I will cherish forever.

Kelly took newborn/family photos of us and it was a wonderful experience! She had tons of great ideas and was super efficient and flexible, which was key with a baby! The photos were gorgeous and we LOVE them and the mix of candids and portraits. Kelly was also great about getting us some good pics a bit early despite the busy holiday season so that we could order some holiday cards in time, which we really appreciated!

Kelly helped us with a family portrait session and a small wedding party. SHE WAS JUST WONDERFUL and I hope she will be our photographer for life :) I love her observational, candid, editorial style. We specifically didn't want cheesy, silly photos, and Kelly really understood what we wanted and delivered far beyond what we expected.
For the portrait session, we had both sets of parents with us and we met Kelly in a park. She was really great at loosening us up as we've never done a photoshoot before. Pictures came out gorgeous: a mix of good smiley ones that our parents wanted, as well

AMAZING experience with Kelly!!! From the initial contact to the photos that we received (we purchased all of them because we couldn't choose just a few), Kelly was professional and fun! Kelly "fit in" with our guests at our daughter's birthday and didn't make having a photographer awkward (which was my fear). Kelly is a wonderful photographer and we had such a great experience working with her for my maternity photo shoot. When we arrived at our photo shoot destination it was windy, 30 degrees, and the hiking trail was icy, but that didn't stop Kelly from getting amazing shots of us. Not only is she a wonderful photographer, but she's also a natural at knowing all of the best poses and snapping shots quickly. Kelly did an amazing job with my boudoir photo shoot! I spent so much time researching photographers, trying to find one with a great style and one that I also felt I could trust. Kelly is both those things plus more. I am so glad I chose her! She managed to make me look fabulous and provided direction the entire time. She made me feel comfortable and at ease. Kelly took my headshots for my blog. The pictures turned out beautifully and exactly what I wanted. On top of that, Kelly made the entire experience fun and comfortable. I went to her house, which is beautifully decorated, warm and comfortable, for the photo session. I am really stiff and never know how to smile in my pictures. When I told her that I wanted my pictures to come across as fun and relatable, she told me to say to myself, "Oh Kelly, you are so funny." That worked! I fell in love with Kelly's work after looking through her Website and Insta. I really wanted someone with a modern vision for photography to capture moments that are truly reflective of our family. She is also a miracle worker when coming to shooting pictures in a less ideal setting. Kelly was able to capture the moodiness of the dark November sky that ended up accenting my maternity photos. We worked with Kelly to have a half day documentary session for my family and I, and had an amazing experience. She was flexible with timing (we had to reschedule twice due to sickness) and was great to work with. The whole day / shoot very natural and the photos turned out amazing. Hiring June Lion to photograph my wedding was one of the best decisions I made. She's genuinely nice, a pleasure to work with, and a professional. Kelly was referred to me by another photographer who used to live in Portland. It's a good sign when another photographer recommends a fellow photographer. I looked at her website and liked her style so I contacted her. She was very quick to respond and professional.
We've had a great photo session with Kelly. She was willing to jump around and work with our two dogs who were semi-cooperative during the photo shoot. She had no problem making "whoot whoot" sound or whatever it took to get the doggies to look at the camera. She has a good energy without being too pushy.

Photography was our biggest priority at our wedding and Kelly was the first and only photographer that we wanted. We were thrilled when she told us she would travel all the way to IOWA for us.
