Our standard 'L' Fixtures are are available in many standard sizes ranging from a 4.00" square working surface to a 24.0" square working surface. Custom sizes and configurations are available. This fixture is a modular system that can test virtually any circuit board in all three axis. Available in many sizes.
Model HSA Stand-Alone Bearing Our model HSA hydrostatic bearing is interchangeable with other free-standing type guide bearings and has an 18,000 lb dynamic load capacity and an 8,000 lb static load capacity. It requires a 2500 PSI hydraulic power supply. It can be made to order with up to a 2-3/8 maximum stroke.
One of Baughn Engineering's greatest assets is finding solutions to challenging test requirements. Nearly every fixture requires a degree of custom design, but in many cases the test requirements are so unique the fixtures must be approached from a completely new perspective. We utilize many techniques to improve overall fixture performance.
Our most popular test fixture, the standard magnesium Head Expander, provides a horizontal mounting surface that increases the shaker's available mounting surface area. Shown with optional thermal protection. Baughn engineering's Q-Damp damping process is incorporated into all of our stand magnesium Head Expanders for improved dynamic response characteristics during high frequency testing.
Multi-axis vibration testing can be accomplished in several ways. One of the least expensive methods is through the use of 'L' Fixture. These provide as least one vertical mounting surface to allow two axes of vibration by rotation of the the test article. Are designed with two vertical mounting surfaces.
