Acupuncture is a Chinese system of medicine that dates back over 3,500 years. The ancient Chinese Medical Doctors discovered pathways, or channels, along the body that relate to organs and systems of the body where life energy, or "Qi", travels. At the root of all illnesses is unbalanced yin, yang, and Qi due to blockage, excess, or deficiency.
Camille Schindler at Honeycomb Acupuncture is located off Grand ave in the Lake Merritt of Oakland community. Here are some New Patient forms that allow me to look at a patient's background in order to determine if they need cupping, acupuncture, tui nah massage, or other forms of therapy. Serving San Francisco and the East Bay: Oakland, Berkeley, Piedmont, Alameda and Walnut Creek.
A acupuncture session has a health history, diagnosis, treatment plan and treatment. Your practitioner will ask detailed questions about your chief complaint, take a thorough medical history, do a physical examination, feel pulses and looking at the tongue. The practitioner will make a Oriental medical diagnosis.
All acupuncture visits are by appointment. Wear something comfortable and loose fitting. New patients: Please arrive 15 minutes early to have your paperwork filled out when possible. Having your personal calendar with you enables you to schedule future appointments. Scheduling treatments in advance ensures that you receive the times and days that work best for you.

Anti-vaccer with poor bedside manner; when I spoke to her about the pandemic and vaccines, she said "I think our own bodies make immunity without vaccines". Lots of certificates on her wall, but seems to lack integrative approach that respects other paradigms. Office is dark and musty; got panhandled on the way out. She wasn't the best listener, and was rather abrupt with her communication style.

I have been successfully treated by Camille for many issues ranging from smoking cessation, anxiety, insomnia, general wellness, back pain, sprains, lethargy and stomach flu - the list goes on. She is deeply invested in the wellbeing of her patients and will undoubtedly help bring your body and mind into alignment. If you have not tried cupping, ask for it! I also like the moxie treatments. Her attentiveness and deep understanding of the human body will keep you feeling good.

I have seen many truly excellent Acupuncturists over the past twenty five years and Camille stands out for the depth and efficacy of her treatments. Somehow, the combination of the Tui Na Medical Massage and traditional Acupuncture needling seems to make the treatments deeper, more effective and longer lasting.

Camille is an amazing acupuncturist, and healer, as well as being an amazing human being. She blends a background of eastern and western medical experience, to give clients a thorough intake and really get to bottom of their health issues. She has excellent needling technique and can guide even the most sensitive and nervous through a gentle and healing acupuncture session, and she also does cupping, and several Chinese medical massage techniques. She specializes in orthopedic issues, and women's fertility/pre and postal natal care. Camille has helped me immensely with an old chronic knee injury
