Noah's Ark Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital, providing complete medical and surgical care for the pet member of your family, Our services range from wellness and preventative medicine, to medical, dental and surgical services as well as boarding and basic grooming services.

Dr. Stipe is a native of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania (known as the heart of Amish country) and is owner/founder of Noah's Ark Animal Hospital. He holds a B.S. degree in Dairy and Animal Science from The Pennsylvania State University, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (D.V.M.) degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine., which included a year of clinical study at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine.
Sarah became a veterinary assistant at Noah's Ark Animal Hospital in 2001. She has enjoyed watching how veterinary medicine has evolved in the short time (10 years) that she has been a part of the profession. She lives locally, with her boyfriend and their three children, two dogs, and four cats. Outside of work, family time is extremely important and she treasures it greatly.
We see patients by appointment, except in case of emergencies. If your pet is experiencing an emergency, please call ahead so that we can be prepared for your pet upon arrival. We require that all pets be placed on a leash, or in a pet carrier for the safety of your pet, as well as others. If need to borrow a leash, or carrier, simply ask one of our friendly staff members for one before you bring your pet in the building.
Most pet owners view their pet as another member of their family and aim to provide their pet with the best care that will keep their pet as healthy and comfortable as possible and living for the greatest length of time. Just as in human medicine, the quality of the healthcare your pet receives can have a big impact on your pet's health.

I took my first cat here to get her shots and make sure she was in good health. Great visit. I also took a new, 8-week-old kitten here because she had worms and wasn't feeling too good!
The staff were extremely understanding of me and my feline's urgent needs. From phone call to an in-office visit, I was treated with nothing but respect, and so were my animals. It was as if the staff had treated my animals as if they were one of their own. I was expecting the bill(s) to be quite expensive, but they are very affordable and reasonable.

I was extremely happy with the services and the friendliness of the staff. They were amazing with my Loki and took the time to explain the issues and and answer any questions I had. I am so very pleased the looked at my pup as a pup and not a breed and treated him so nice. The pricing seems extremely fair and with the unfortunate COVID issues still in play the service was above par.

I recently started taking Bo, black lab/border Collie, here and have only been there once. I've had to return over the last few months for supplements, flea and tick etc...Everyone seemed real nice. Until I called the other day and was explaining what my past experiences with other businesses where, why I'm no longer with them and what I'm looking for in the future for Bo. As I'm explaining this, I can here Doc continously impatiently yelling for the person I was on the with to conclude the phone call and get back to whatever it was Noah was being called back for. We have been bringing our two pit bull babies to this vet for a few years now, and we couldn’t be more thankful for them. They are extremely professional, caring and dedicated to taking care of your animals as their own and easing the minds of us owners. They have such huge hearts and go above and beyond for your pets.
