Glove Cities Veterinary Hospital understands your world would not be complete without your pets!. We are a full service small animal hospital located in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. Our caring and knowledgeable staff is experienced in all types of conditions and treatments. We are proud to offer state of the art equipment in a comfortable setting.
That's why each of our pet patients receive an individualized plan for anesthesia to meet their specific needs and constant monitoring throughout the entire procedure by a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Putting a pet under anesthesia is just as serious - and scary - as if it were a family member, friend, or ourselves.
Vet visits can be extra stressful for cats; the foreign space and smells, unfamiliar noises, other cats - DOGS in the waiting room! Which is why Glove Cities Veterinary Hospital has Cat Only examination rooms, designed and dedicated for the comfort of our feline friends. Each Cat Room is fitted with a cat tree, popular feline toys and pheromone diffusers that emit calming chemicals to mimic a cat's natural pheromone patterns.
Just as with humans, dental disease stresses the immune system and weakens liver, kidney and heart function. That's why we brush and floss everyday, right? Well, and good smelling breath. At Glove Cities Veterinary Hospital we take a methodical and caring approach to your pet's preventative dental care.
Okay, so we don't really have x-ray vision, but our in-house radiology equipment and lab allows us to get better results fast, which means we can make the smartest decisions about your pet's health in the shortest amount of time. X-rays are one of the most important diagnostic tools in veterinary medicine.

We called them because our own vet, Johnstown Animal Clinic wouldn't respond, when our gravely ill 15 yr old fur baby was very sick and in dire need of medical assistance. They took us right in, examined her, and as she passed away on their table, on her own, they comforted me. They had never seen her before, nor me, but they treated us both with so much support, respect and affection, I will never take any of my babies anywhere else. Thank you for making such a hard time a little more barrable. RIP Emma Jean ?-12-10-21

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They have been amazing with our two 18 week old puppies. Everything that's done at each visit is explained in detail and they're always willing to help if you have any questions. I always recommend glove cities if anyone is looking for a new vet. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my fur babies.
