Dr. Zubad Newaz was born in central Ohio and grew up primarily in Ann Arbor, MI where he also proceeded to attend the University of Michigan for undergraduate studies as well as dental school. Dr. Newaz then went on to complete two specialty degrees, first in Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology at the University of Florida, and then in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics at the NYU-Langone Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.
Fixing a chipped tooth, cracked tooth or a gap in your teeth is fast, easy and affordable with dental bonding. Dental bonding can also be used to improve the appearance of slightly discolored teeth and to change the shape of teeth, but it is typically recommended only for small cosmetic changes. Unlike other cosmetic treatments, dental bonding can be performed with little to no advance preparation.
A dental crown may not make you feel like royalty, but it is one of the premiere treatments for teeth with extensive decay or damage. Dental crowns can also used to hold a dental bridge in place, cover misshapen or severely discolored teeth, or cover a tooth after a root canal procedure. Made of either porcelain-fused-to-metal, ceramic or gold, dental crowns are placed during a multi-step process and sometimes require more than one dental visit.
There are three types of dental bridges: 1) traditional dental bridges, 2) cantilever dental bridges, and 3) Maryland bridges. Best dentist I have ever had!!! I drive a long ways to see him. I have a very small and complicated mouth. When he does major dental work ( or any dental work) he takes the time to make sure the bite and feel are great. Huge difference from my many other experiences. They also are not gonna pressure you to get procedures you can’t afford even if u do need them. They are respectful. Very skilled dentist. Very personable. Very happy!!!

NEW PATIENTS BEWARE! I am writing this review to inform potential patients of my experience at this office. I have been using the same dentist for 10 years and needed to get a wisdom tooth removed. Since my dentist does not perform removals, I googled and found Metro Smiles. I should have known something was off during my initial visit when I was given an estimate of over $500 out of pocket for the removal of one tooth. After scanning thru the estimate, I questioned some of the services being provided and was later told that some of those were recommended. I am also in the medical field so I know

The doctor is patient and great and does well with me with my phobia of dentists. The nursing staff and hygienist are all great as well. I only had one issue with one person who I’ve had to checkout with. They just don’t know how to talk to people. On multiple occasions, they’ve been rude and come off rather aggressive to me, and their poor tone also disappointed a family member of mine who was assisting me during my first surgery. I did not give this review a one star because I don’t think the entire business and staff should suffer because of one person who can’t seem to get it together

Great place for you destist needs. The prices are great, I was actually impressed with there prices, they were very reasonable for the service offered. Very clean and organized place. The staff were great. Jaina, the docs assistant checked me in, she was great, she took the time to explain everything from the procedure to the paper work to my follow up, can't ask for anything better. And Dr. Patel is great, very knowledgeable, professional and very helpful. He explains every step so I can know exactly what going in, most dentists just do the work and not say a word until payment time 🤣🤣.

Metro Smiles staff are incredibly talented. The office has high tech equipment I didn't know existed. Dr. Patel is friendly, concise, and honest. My procedure was done in a creative way that saved me from needing a second root canal. Dr. Patel saved me hours of time and a lot of money. Also, Nikki the receptionist is as knowledgeable as a dentist herself.

Dr.Patel is an amazing dentist and has the most advanced tools and techniques I've seen so far in Orlando. I love the fact that he does everything in house from cleaning to crowns and implants ,,, and 95% of procedures are all done by him from start to end. I was surprised that even crowns are done by him, no temp crowns, no 2 weeks of waiting .... incredible Dr.Patel! I Recommend 200%

In my lifetime I have had 4 different dentists. Dr. Patel is by far the best. Unfortunately I had to have a root canal and crown today for the first time ever. I was VERY nervous. However Dr. Patel and his team were very gentle. I literally felt ZERO discomfort.
The office is state of the art and very relaxing in appearance. The cost of service was reasonable and he also works with almost every insurance. I highly recommend Dr. Patel and his team at Metro Smiles!
