Great salon located in Catonsville. I have been client of ALI for a few years now. I am very picky about my hair, and safe to say Ali is ABSOLUTELY amazing, especially with balayage and cuts. I always get so many great compliments on my hair. Highly recommended! Staff overall is super welcoming and friendly. You won’t regret it!

I booked for full highlights with Kasee (senior stylist). I love the work detail, the time she took to pull each string out to highlight. However, While I was waiting for my highlights to process, she took another client. So, she took a long time with the Other client until my hair over processed and burned. My hair was like Ramen noodles can easily be cut with my fingers.I wish the time that I booked was committed to me only. I booked for two hours and a half, unfortunately, she took three clients in those two hours and a half.Price doesn’t matter with me as long as I’m getting a good quality

I had recently moved back to MD from Alaska and I was in desperate need of a hair stylist. My friend’s sister had gone to Ash+Oak and had nothing but good things to say so I decided to check it out. I had been attempting to book an appointment for awhile but I didn’t want to have to take off work and their calendar was pretty full (which I took as a good sign). I finally was able to snag an evening appointment with Hannah and I am so glad I did. I usually have a hard time explaining what I want and end up leaving slightly disappointed

I had a previous good experience with a cut and color with this salon so I returned there. I scheduled 2 future appointments for my hair care with the hair stylist. For each one that came up, I was given a call prior saying that the appt had been booked incorrectly and needed to be rescheduled. The salon already has poor availability. They make it pretty clear they don’t need your business and aren’t apologetic breaking commitments due to their own incompetence. There are better salons with better service/scheduling. I won’t return here and I’m pretty sure they don’t care.

I have been going to Ash and Oak since moving to Baltimore in 2018. I have been to both locations and everyone is just so kind and wonderful! Hannah is a magician with blonde hair color. Not to mention she has the most genuine soul! 10/10 would recommend!

First time coming into Ash + Oak, and I loved it! Summer was excellent! My friend highly recommend this salon and I couldn’t be happier about my experience. I will be back again very soon my hair was a mess, and hadn’t been cut pre Covid, almost two years. I walked away feeling soo much better about my hair, and I have an even better self care hair routine set up, all thanks to Summer!

Glad I Found this spot when I first moved to Maryland! It took me a bit to find a stylist and it’s deff worth the short trip from Columbia to come to this spot! Ali is amazing and so are the others at her workplace — they deff go above and beyond and I’m always looking forward to stopping in!

I had an appointment scheduled with Kasee that I had waited MONTHS for. A week before the appointment I was feeling under the weather. A few days before I still was not 100% so I decided to get a COVID test. I was told it would be back by the day of the appointment, & a few hours before I hadn’t heard anything so I decided to cancel. I was symptom free and was just being overly cautious. Well Kasee decided to charge me $150 for canceling the appointment the day of. I called the manager, Maggie and explained my side of it and they are refusing to give me my money back. I was trying to be safe

I’ve seen both Sarah and Kasee and they are both amazing. Everyone here is so nice. I have naturally curly/biracial hair and this is the first place that has done a blowout on me and gotten my edges straight and my hair completely sleek.
