East Side Physical Therapy
At East Side Physical Therapy, we customize your rehabilitation program based on your presentation, lifestyle, and goals. We are your best choice for outpatient orthopedic physical therapy in Anchorage. We are a small clinic, focused on individualized patient care. We want to help you reach your goals of improved function.

You tell us what your life is like now, and what you want it to be. Our job is to discern what specific systems we can help you modify. Then we help you understand how your body works, and help you apply the knowledge to help it work the best it can for you. The clinic is owned and operated by a local Physical Therapist and US Army veteran; Jeanna Duryee, DPT.

She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2001 from the University of Southern California. USC is consistantly ranked the best PT school in the nation. Prior to PT school she was active duty Army for 4 years. She grew up on the southern Oregon coast. When she is not working to help improve the lives of her patients, she stays busy with her family and hobbies.
In Spring of 2010, when I first came your way, I was about four months post-op from my surgery, a fairly extensive shoulder reconstruction after a mountain bike crash. I was down because of my slow recovery and my high pain levels while doing the PT exercises from a prior referral. I knew right away I was lucky to have you as my case manager and primary therapist, because in less than two weeks I had become essentially pain free during exercise.

My sciatic pain was so intense that I could barely stand or walk when I first visited East Side Physical Therapy. After only two visits, I have learned some great stretches, body weight exercises, and have a better understanding of what is causing my pain. I'm making progress and feel a little better every day.
I had been seeing a chiropractor twice a week for months, with very little relief. I had zero understanding of what was causing the issue and how to properly get relief. I was shelling out hundreds of dollars and thinking I needed surgery. If you're hurting, try East Side Physical Therapy
