Services
Acupuncture is a healing therapy that is a branch of Chinese medicine. The Chinese discovered that Qi flows between organs along regular pathways called meridians. Acupoints are key points along the meridians where the energy is most accessible. A licensed acupuncturist-or Chinese medical doctor-will stimulate these acupoints with sterile, disposable needles, allowing the physician to direct the Qi and restore natural balance.

I highly recommend Erika. I moved to the Bay area a year ago and was hoping to find an acupuncturist to develop a relationship with, and Erika has proven to be an excellent practitioner who has helped me a lot. She is not only highly-skilled and very knowledgeable, she is also kind, gentle and genuinely interested in designing the best treatment plan to help you attain balance in your health. Her approach is one of deep listening and careful, understandable explanations. Her goal is to provide you with self-knowledge and her gentle guidance and advice in using Chinese herbs and adjusting diet and

Erika is a really great practitioner. She has a great aura about her, very calming, and she is very thorough in her questioning and evaluation. Her treatments are terrific and my neck feels a heck of a lot better after a few treatments, let me tell ya.

Not too mention you always seem to walk out with some kind of little herb deal or patch in your bag for the road. Check her out, you will not be disappointed.

Erika's treatments are, without a doubt, the best hour of my week. Over the past few years she has helped me in so many ways. My chronic pain, grief, anxiety, menstrual problems, headaches, even cold and flus have all been soothed by Erika's nurturing treatments. She's very gentle and compassionate, so if you are scared of needles or just unsure about getting acupuncture, Erika is the person to see! I feel so lucky to have Erika in my life, and I know if you see her, you'll feel the same!

I had never seen an acupuncturist before seeing Erika Chen, and really didn't know what it was all about. I randomly read somewhere about someone who had been able to overcome their sugar cravings through acupunture, and decided to give it a try, since sugar cravings have been a lifelong problem for me. Honestly, I was FLOORED with the results, it was like a light switch had been flipped for me, and I just lost the desire for sugary treats. SInce seeing Erica I actually lost 10 pounds since I'm no longer eating all the candy bars and baked goods. I highly recommend her services!

I'll keep it brief: Erika changed my life.

29 years ago, I had a nasty accident that left with with stiff joints and chronic low-back pain. In the last year, it had gotten worse, so I'd pretty much stopped exercising. It even hurt to walk.

I'd tried acupuncture in the past, but got no relief. Then I read about Erika on Yelp, and decided OK, I'll give it one last chance. And, well... "Wow!"

In one session with her, she seemed to unlock my joints. She listened to my problems, asked a lot of questions, then went to work. To be honest, I probably would have forgotten

I had never done acupuncture before but had always paid attention to my body and bloodflow and stretching and muscles because i am into multiple sports. so finally i went to see what i could learn.

erika surprised me because, in contrast to a typical "doctor's office" visit, she wanted to know the details of my health, about my health habits, and where i felt certain imbalances existed in my body (muscles, bones, tightness, etc); the visit wasn't predicated on time, in other words, perhaps a first in my experience.

aside from that i felt like finally here was a field

I must say that I have grown addicted to acupuncture. Ms. Lessey Chen has been a wonderful help with my allergies, sports injuries, and my acid reflux (gone). I don't go regularly as now I only need to go during the springtime when my allergies flare up. She's been great at making sure I have my Chinese herbs to help with my allergies, and she's willing to meet me when I have an allergy attack. When I had acid reflux issues, she administered acupuncture about 3 times, gave me herbs, and I was back on track in a few weeks. I was worried that I was going to have acid reflux for
