Born and raised in the suburbs outside of NYC and now living in the Bay Area with my husband and two teens, I have been photographing playful families in and around the cities they live for the past ten years. My professional career began in Education, where I taught early elementary school grades for many years.
I know a thing or two about engaging with children of all ages!. After the birth of my son and daughter, I embraced the role of stay-at-home mom and adjusted to life with a newborn and toddler. During this time, I started documenting my days at home with them. Over time, I became more passionate about the craft of photography and, before I knew it, I was on the exciting path of entrepreneurship.

We will confirm that everyone is healthy before meeting and there are no penalties for rescheduling due to illness. I will work hard to create a memorable photo session experience where everyone feels relaxed and has permission to be themselves. All you need to do is show up, be fully present and engaged with your family, and use the time together to reconnect, laugh, be silly, and have fun!.

Before working with Lori I had older photos of myself that didn't represent myself or my business as well as they should.
Now I have so many that it's hard for me to choose which one to share on social media.
Lori had great ideas of how to photograph me to capture my personality and showcase my personal styling service.
She made me very comfortable very quickly and easily.

Lori has done our family photos for the last two years, and we can't imagine working with anyone else. We have two very young children, and Lori is incredible in engaging with them, rolling with their mood swings, and bringing out their best in the photos. We have been absolutely thrilled with our pictures. It's also a huge kick seeing my son and I first thing on her webpage. Lori's a fantastic person and a fantastic photographer.

Lori photographed my husband, dog and me in our front yard to act as a keepsake of this unique moment where we're spending countless days and hours in our home during shelter-in-place.
The front yard was the perfect place for the photo shoot, as we've been spending lots of time enjoying the yard and our neighbors from our yellow chairs. We've built new relationships, planted new plants, added garden art and an "I spy" game since COVID began. Lori beautifully captured all of those little pieces of our yard in these photos, and I know I'll look back on them so fondly.

Wow! Where do I begin? First of all, Lori was just so fun to work with. I’ve been in tedious photography sessions before, but this was totally different. We were laughing, joking, chatting... I almost forgot about the camera at times.

Lori has been photographing my family since my kids where very young. Every few years we have had her back to capture the love our family has for each other. Literally there are family photos all over our home thanks to Lori. She has so many great ideas and I always spend on her during our sessions to always get it right which she does! There is nothing like a good photograph. It is more than a moment captured in time. It has the ability to invoke every emotion on the scale, to overwhelm and dazzle. Lori Fuller has that ability. She can capture those charming, every day or formal, fleeting moments, and freeze them in time. Those moments that make you smile from joy, or thru happy tears. Where does that time go? Why is childhood so short?? I've used Lori twice, and both times have been utterly entranced by how my family was seen thru her lens. The pictures she's produced are heirlooms, and utterly precious.

Lori is the best, plain and simple. She's a delight to work with and the final product is always full of real treasures. She's wonderful with tiny humans and adults alike. Lori came to our house with the goal of photographing our life right now: two sleep-deprived moms with two little boys under the age of one. Our best expectation was that we'd be able to get a couple shots of our boys not looking too goofy (or screaming!) What Lori did was absolutely incredible: in the midst of our chaos, diaper changes, bottles, snacks and various outbursts, Lori captured moments of pure joy, love and utter peace. Lori is simply the BEST. We recently booked a family photo session with her, and I'm beyond pleased with the results. Lori has an innate ability to capture special moments. I can't stop looking at one photo in particular where she captured a look of true bliss on my little boy's face during a hug. My daughters and I (14 & 10) spent Sunday in a workshop with Lori creating vision books. We didn't have any expectations, and I was happy that there wasn't a lot of resistance b/c of the difference in my daughter's ages. As it turned out, it was the best 3 hours I have spend with the two of my daughters in a while. Lori is a natural facilitator. Wow. Just wow. I was in serious need of professional head shots for my business, but I am a very picky person. I didn't want your typical straightforward head shot. Lori Fuller is an amazingly talented photographer and wonderful to work with. She took the time to meet with us, understand what we were trying to capture in our family pictures and came up with a location that was perfect for us. Soon after the session she personally came to our home to review all the pictures and went through all the options. We were so thrilled to have wonderful 'art' pieces added to our home and also ordered the holiday cards as well which were done way ahead of time! We will absolutely work with her for years to come!

I'd like to express my appreciation for Lori's work with our preschool class. She is a professional whose photos captured each child's individual personality. Communication was very clear throughout our planning and coordination process.
