Ann has been a dental hygienist for over 30 years and has a passion for patient care and building relationships with patients. She is known for her gentle touch and has a knowledge base that comes with her years of experience. As one of our hygienists, she promotes a positive, comfortable experience in the office, and she is committed to helping patients achieve optimal oral health.
To treat a cavity, tooth decay is removed and a tooth is filled with silver amalgam or composite. Amalgam fillings have been used by dentists for more than a century and are the most cost-effective type of dental filling. Composite fillings, which are made of a tooth-colored plastic and glass composite, are preferred due to their natural appearance and durability.
A dental root canal is needed when either decay or an injury causes an infection of the pulp. The pulp is the network of blood vessels and nerves inside a tooth. In the earliest stages of infection, you may not feel any pain at all. But when it progresses, you can have a toothache and swelling, or a dental abscess might form.
2-D and 3-D digital radiographic imaging show what is below the surfaces of your teeth and the bony structures of your jaw. Digital x-rays produce high-quality images with exceptional diagnostic capacity at greatly reduced radiation levels. Intraoral digital photography is another tool to capture and record images of your teeth.

Full disclosure. I have lifelong anxiety and deep seed seeded fear of this profession. I knew I was wayyyyyyyy over due for work and searched for something close and, we'll, "modern." In the past I would wait for an issue, get it resolved, and skip all follow up.
I searched for an office nearby, read some yelps and settled on Modern Dentistry off Talavi Blvd. From the first call to the receptionist she worked gently and confidently to reassure me that this was the place for me and felt certain I would know

Dr.Amy Liu is literally The best dentist I have ever came across, The night before I went in I absolutely had no sleep I was in the worst type of pain words could not describe! I was calling around for prices and came across modern dental care spoke with Rebecca, best customer service I have ever experienced,understood I was in pain and fit me into the schedule same day! This post is about Modern Dental Care. From the day you walk into the door you feel like you're entering a dental office in Beverly Hills. Your first Contact is with the receptionist whose name is Rebecca. She is extremely informative and very helpful. Facility is very clean and comforting and dr. Liu is very well-versed on all things Dental. I highly suggest this practice if you are looking for a wonderful experience.

Dr Liu is the best dentist I have ever had (I'm 62 and have had alot of dentists). She is a perfectionist and everyone there always makes me feel at home, like family. It's not often that you get a dentist that will call you to see how you're doing. And on your first time there, they will give you a tour of the office. Always a joy to see Dr. Liu and the gals.

Dr Amy Liu is one of the best dentists I have been to in years. She just recently pulled the last 4 of my teeth. I was so happy that I didn't have to see a specialist to have them pulled. She is know doing IV sedation. Best way ever to get major work done! She is currently helping me with my new dentures to get the best fit possible. Dr Liu is a perfectionist with everything that she does. So you are going to get very detailed work. She has even given me her personal phone number so if I had questions or concerns. Thank You

Dr. Amy Liu is much more to me than my go to Dentist for myself and my family. She is such a warm soul that takes a lot of pride in her work. I have been with Dr. Amy Liu for over 20+ years and she amazes me every single time I see her for dental work. I chose this dental establishment from the reviews on yelp. I was not disappointed! The doctor is amazingly friendly and thorough! You're greeted by Rebecca at the door who is comforting and gives you a tour of the office. They offered to the coffee water all at the front desk. The dental hygienist was so knowledgeable! I know my teeth will be healthier because of her. I definitely recommend this dental place!
