Craig graduated from University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1997 with a Master's in Physical Therapy. He spent his first few years working at Barrow's Neurological Institute at St. Joe's Hospital. It was an excellent learning environment as he treated many complex neurological and spine patients. Then he worked in a private practice treating orthopedic and spine conditions.
If you have had an orthopedic surgery, we have a custom plan to optimize your recovery, healing and return to your active life. Also known as myofascial decompression. It is one of the few techniques that works in the decompression of adhesions and tissue restrictions. Relieves stress, improves blood flow and lymph circulation, decreases tension, tightness and trigger points and speeds healing.
We have 6 private treatment rooms and an additional 3 curtained areas to improve privacy so that you may be comfortable during your visit. Physical therapy is a combination of science and art. One physical therapist may treat differently than another, thus allowing outcomes to be slightly different as well.

This place came from a word of mouth recommendation. The office is very nice with a lot of equipment & many treatment tables dotting the outer perimeter. The front office staff is friendly and welcoming & the PT I met with was pretty nice & determined to solve my issue.

I injured my knee, and chose Blankinship Physical Therapy for my rehab following surgery. Wow - it was a very positive experience, and more importantly, I was able to quickly regain my mobility. Tyler set the pace, and ensured the exercises were enough to push me to do my best. Okay The whole team was professional (thanks also to Jeff and Nestor), the facility was top notch, and everyone there truly cares about your outcome. If you are ever in need of help after an injury, I highly recommend selecting them!

All the techs I worked with were knowledgable, positive and pleasant. I especially liked working with Mark. My only suggestion would be that you try to have one tech work with a patient throughout his entire session rather than two or three..

Best physical therapy I have ever had. The staff is very kind and welcoming, the quality of care is unparalleled. Kyle is very knowledgeable, personable and caring. He created a therapy plan to address my specific symptoms that has proven to be successful. Since working with Kyle my pain has greatly decreased and he has helped me regain range of motion in my neck that I never thought would come back. Because of this, my life has improved dramatically. I’ve had the unfortunate pleasure, and I mean that in the best way, of meeting a group of dedicated, professional, and caring people ever. My story with Blankenship goes back to 2014. I’ve been through a shoulder recovery from a work related injury when I was in law enforcement. Then to a full surgery on that same shoulder, to a bi lateral shoulder set of surgeries last year.
Without this team of caring people, I would have never been able to get through the recovery. My surgeries were only 2 months apart from each other. I was able to have the second surgery due to the diligence of the crew

I’ve had a great experience at Blankenship! It starts with the pleasant and helpful gals at the front desk who handle scheduling and financing. The therapists know what they’re doing, and my interactions with them have always been helpful and pleasant. I’m also impressed with the range of therapy done and the variety of resources—such as laser—they they have to offer. Make an appointment. You’ll be happy you did!

I go to Blankinship Physical Therapy because they're the best. I had foot surgery more than a decade ago and was sent here after that and have never let any doctor send me anywhere else since. The front desk is awesome, the therapists and everyone else who works with you are amazing and they get you back to better than you were before you had your injury. I highly recommend them. I really do, I've probably sent at least 10 people to them over the years.

Just know that all the employees of Blankenship are Angels sent here from Heaven to assist us with our physical rehabilitation.
My daughter had her achilles tendon lengthening surgery 2 months ago and has been working with Tyler and Abby as well as another nice lady. My daughter has come so far!!!!!! This isn't just regular PT you would get at school or somewhere that offers other services with it. This is the REAL DEAL!!!! ALWAYS on schedule, easy, convenient and accommodating.
