All stations are fully equipped with televisions and Netflix to help keep your child's experience amazing! Teens can enjoy our "teen room" that has a big screen TV fully equipped with Xbox one to play video games.

I do not feel they are trained to handle high energy children. I have never had a stylist ask me to give my child my phone to keep them still. Besides that and the garbage bag they used to collect the hair I was not impressed. It just shows me how much I really do love my regular barber. Don't know why I wanted to try a new place. Do not try to fix what is not broken. Will not go to this place again. Definitely NOT worth the money.

Came here with my 18 month old for his first haircut and Sarah was AMAZING at making my son feel comfortable she had the TV on for distraction as she made sure that she didn't do any movements that would startle him.
The front of the place was has 2 seats for toddlers while the backroom was for the older kids. The place was clean and warm for the winter months so you don't have to worry about your child being cold taking off an extra layer the cut.
It was such a good experience and they saved a lock of his hair with a certificate for him as his first hair cut experience. I came on

All staff are positive, professional, and kind. We're happy with the results every time! Our boys are 3 yrs and 1.5 yrs old. The 3 year old has been coming here since he was 1 and is always happy to go back.
Very clean facility and instruments. Staff will even use hand sanitizer before picking up a toy to hand to the children. The car/truck/train seats are all clean and free of hair.
Conveniently located right next to the train station and across the street from the parking garage. Easy access even in inclement weather!

I bring my 5 year old daughter to Snips for Pips in Ridgewood. She loves coming here! The facility is always clean and the staff is friendly. They have TVs to entertain each child. My daughter always enjoys her experience. She gets her haircuts from Maria. Maria always does a great job and she is gentle while washing, combing and drying her hair. I highly recommend Maria and Snips for Pips!

So happy we found Snips for Pips! I’ve been taking my two year old son to different places for haircuts since he was 7 months and I can confidently say that Snips for Pips is by far the best. Jan was so impressively patient. Even with a squirmy toddler, she did a fantastic job. Definitely check them out!

O.M.G. Are these people seriously running a children's salon??!!! I would really like to give this salon negative 5 stars. Snooty would be a compliment. I brought my 2 year old for her first hair cut and she was particularly scared and didn't want to sit or let them touch her hair. This obviously isn't the salons fault but I'm not exaggerating when I say that her hairstylist Maria (I only know that's her name because it came up when I booked online) had the personality of a dead fly. She did not come up to us to introduce herself and I only assumed she was the one doing

Haircuts are extremely stressful for our son. He gets upset and scared every time we’ve taken him for a haircut. We stumbled upon Snips for Pips and decided to give it a shot. Absolute Life changer!!!! The staff are so friendly and helpful. They understand that every child is different and this might not be such an easy experience for them.… Superb place. Kid-friendly. They did everything possible and beyond to make sure my son was not scared. And we came out of the place without a single tear shed, with a happy child. Cannot thank them enough for making this experience easy and fun

I was terrified to bring my one year old son in here for fear of a meltdown, and lo and behold he cried as soon as Mira had the cape on him. The whole time she was so sweet and talked to him, quickly cutting his hair when he sat still for a second. Everyone was so friendly when we walked in and Mira did such a great job even though her customer was less than cooperative. Will definitely be coming back!

Today was my third time going to this place with my 2 year old boy. 2 Previous times were good, I believe Jaime did it second time, she was great! She was quick, nice, and kept my son entertained. However, today Shani did a horrible job. She just came with the buzzer and with no warning push my boy's head down and started to buzz! He got so scared! Cried for the rest of the cut ... he had cuts since he was 6 months- never cried!
And the result - uneven cut, she forgot to do ear on one side, choppy on the top;( she should not cut kids hair!

I have gone here twice, once with a 2 year old and once with a 1 year old. My first experience was with a young man who took so long to give my son his hair cut he cried. My second time was with the actual owner, whom I thought was really gruff and unfriendly for someone who works primarily with children.
Their set up is amazing, they have everything from the car seats to video games for older kids. But I think it's worth driving a bit farther to Pompton Lakes to Zanya's cuts for kids.

Tldr: haircut was just bleh, not worth the price.
Thankfully the people know how to better deal with screaming and crying children, as expected, than a normal haircut place. But I was left unimpressed by the haircut my 14 month old received. To be fair, he was SUPER pissed at having to have his hair cut yet again, and was squirming around like no other. I give the woman cutting his hair a lot of credit for staying patient and not being phased by it. But she wasn't really friendly or bubbly or anything of that sort (what you'd hope for in a person who cuts children's hair). I understand

I had to write a glowing review for Rita who did my son's first haircut this weekend. She was AMAZING! He cried hysterically (not their fault) and she managed to work swiftly and beautifully around him. I thought she was like a magician I couldn't believe my eyes! The transformation was amazing. My son loved the cool cars to sit in and the toys and dvds. Unfortunately the second he saw the scissors he freaked out. Rita tried to calm him but he's tough and we know that!
