It's been an ongoing struggle with my current hair stylist to get on the same color page for a while and I wanted to try someone new. I called Lisa Thomas Salon and said I needed someone who specialized in blond hair; the front desk referred me to Monica and then set me up with a 15 minute consolation the next day with her to discuss treatment and color. Monica was very patient, listened to my concerns and frustrations with my current stylist and took the time to recommend several appropriate treatments and a color plan.

I've been coming here for a few years now and always have had a really good experience with the stylists and come away with a great haircut.... Went today and had Monika for the first time and am so happy! I felt like I came in like a hot mess (called I was running late, breaking out, and otherwise pandemic frazzled) and honestly just had such a nice experience! She was very personable and comfortable and super helpful with styling tips. Did a great curtain bang cut and I will definitely be booking with her again. Muchos gracias!!!

Monika was AMAZING! She was super sweet and made my hair look absolutely stunning!!! And considering my daughter was walking around her to watch her cut my hair, she's definitely someone I'd definitely come to again! 10/10 would recommend!

It was a horrible experience. WOULDN’T RECOMMEND! I went in for a root color and haircut!! My roots are now golden blond when I have dark brown hair! Unfortunately I didn’t notice to color until I got home!! My haircut is awful I asked for it be angled towards my face which it wasn’t and said something and still she didn’t fix it! I told her I wasn’t happy and stylist laughed!! I now have to go somewhere else to get my haircut fixed!! I would definitely never go back!! I now know why they only have a 4 star rating!!

Here’s a little back story: for many, many years I kept the same traditional short business-like cut and over quarantine I decided to grow my hair out. IT WAS LONG. I got it cut twice by two different stylists at different salons and it didn’t come out how I imagined it.
I decided to get another cut and heard GREAT reviews about Mary, and decided to give it another shot. I WAS BLOWN AWAY.
Not only was her attention to detail spectacular, she cut with absolute precision and delivered a life-changing haircut. Seriously. I walked outside

Very disappointed with the owner's response to say the least. It is inaccurate to say that I repeatedly asked for a discount. I asked only once and afterwards I had to give my reason: why an anticipated 3 -4 hour appointment took 7 hours! I've been to other salons in the city, had the same services as my daughter who has the same type of hair as me (long and thick) and it never took that long. Maybe I wasn't heard or misunderstood b/c it was very noisy and crowded in there that day with so many blow dryers going on at once. As a matter of fact,

I bought a Groupon for hair conditioning, cut and blowout. Monika was my stylist and she was lovely- very sweet and easy to talk to. The entire experience was seamless. There was no wait once I checked in. The stations were cordoned off by plastic curtains. Monika listened to me and gave me the look I wanted. I would definitely go back.

I have been trying this salon for hair coloring services with one of their apprentices (Ashley). She is very detail-oriented and welcoming, and listens well to any concerns. So far, I am very satisfied with the results I have gotten from the 3 times I have been here.
I also like to observe the culture of the salon in general, and from what I see, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, they take care of the their clients efficiently but without rushing (they also seem to know them personally and remember them), and they sell a wide variety of good products.
