Dr. Dana Ericksen spent his high school years in Blacksburg, Virginia, rooting for the Hokies while his father taught at Virginia Tech.
Upon receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 1982, he returned to UVA in Charlottesville to complete a two-year general practice residency including oral surgery, oral pathology, facial trauma, IV sedation and dental care for the medically compromised.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Ericksen and his staff. They’re all so friendly and pleasant. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Ericksen for about three years now and my teeth have never looked better. Dr. Ericksen has been our family dentist for over 30 years. His practice wonderful. Tammy a the front desk is considerate, kind and a lot of fun. Most of all, she's great at scheduling. The team is good at being both thorough and conscious of time. When my kids were little, they loved going to the dentist! Dr. Ericksen does a great job with cosmetic dentistry including fixing cracked teeth and matching the color perfectly. He also did such a good job with a gum graph that I can't even see it. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised when he treated my 90 year old mother like

Dr. Ericksen has been my dentist for over 10 years. He and his staff are always very professional and efficient. Our appointments are always on time, and I have had many procedures in addition to the biannual cleanings. I have had a gum graft and filling done. They have lasted and have had no issues eating or cleaning my teeth. I recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist in northern Virginia.

If I could give them negative stars I would, that's how bad this place is. I suggest you avoid this place at all cost. My wife went here for a check up last week where they told he she needed a root canal immediately on one of her teeth. She called me and we decided to trust them and go ahead and get it done. Unfortunately the dentist who did the root canal had no idea of what he was doing. First of all the charge an ungodly amount of money for a root canal. I had one done somewhere else and my co pay with the same insurance as my wife was about $500 less. Long story short the crown they put
