What a mistake we made by hiring GarnTee as our roofing contractor. What began as a basic roof replacement turned into a total nightmare. After scheduling the tear off to occur after a forecasted summer rain storm, they actually started work before the storm with no notice and then were caught totally unprepared with no tarps for protection and no 'power supply' (old home, no exterior power) for their nail guns. Rain streamed into the inside of our house and completely ruined the kitchen, living room, and laundry room. It turned into a total disaster. But instead of showing any empathy, Jim Garn

They never showed up. I scheduled a time for them to come to my home and give me an estimate; and after waiting 2 hours I called them. They apologized profusely and said they would contact the serviceman and call me right back. They never called back. The next day I called them again and scheduled another visit and the exact same thing happened again. They never showed up. I called and had to leave a message. They never returned my call. I moved on and called a different repair company.

We really struggled to find a roofer that would 1. Return our call and 2. Give us a quote in a timely manner. I called at least 4-5 roofers and Garn-Tee was prompt in not only responding to us, but coming out and giving us a quote. He was extremely informative in educating us on what our roof needed, options available to us and pros and cons of each. They weren't pushy or trying to sell the top of the line, they were very helpful and personable, asking us questions about what our needs were and trying to match us with the best options. Jim met with me on a Saturday and discussed what he felt was needed. I didn't feel rushed or pressured. I received a quote right then and there. His quote was detailed and there were no hidden charges. He was totally accessible and answered any questions and concerns we had. The crew was quick and kept the work site clean. They actually finished the job a day early.
