It was back in 1986 when Hal joined our team. His family moved to Huntersville to be closer to family. Initially Hal ran the Appliance division then began working in the plumbing contracting division soon thereafter. Hal gained his State Plumbing Contractor's license & when Bobby decided to retire in 1992, Hal became President of the company.
He is originally from Roxboro, NC & graduated from NC State University. Hal oversees the management end of the company & lives in Huntersville. In his spare time, Hal enjoys cooking, photography, reading & gardening. Started with North Mecklenburg Plumbing in 1985, apprenticing under Bobby. He gained his Mecklenburg County Journeyman's license, holds his State Plumbing Contractor's license, & became a partner in the company in 1997.

Robbie and his team could not have been more wonderful! We are a school and don't have the time or the space for any building to be down on our campus. When Robbie found out about our situation, he sent a team out immediately and they performed a miracle!
We never missed one minute of classes and the job was done as professionally as you will ever see. The price was also more than fair given the circumstances and fast turnaround.

Had a water heater go out. Called in the morning, got a quote using a couple pictures over text message a few minutes later. New water heater was installed a couple hours later. Technician was professional and was easy to work with. Overall great experience, would highly recommend.

Thanks to Mr Hester and his crew for a great job replacing a damaged gas water heater. The technicians were prompt, courteous, unobtrusive, speedy, and informative. I appreciated Mr Hester's personal thoroughness in timely followup and detail. It left me with no stress. Annoying to me, a principal 'googled' competitor quoted a (higher) over-the-phone price before the words "water heater" cleared my lips. Great job North Mecklenburg Plumbing Co

We had an issue with our tub drain and it needed replaced. Turns out it is an unconventional drain stopper and the plumber on site could not find a replacement after going to two supply stores. We ended up paying the bill, but the work wasn't completed. Two weeks later, the plumber calls and out of the blue tells us he found one. He could have forgotten about us and went about his business, but he still went searching for the part we needed and delivered it after the fact. Great company with service folks that care.

We recently had our floors redone and discovered some plumbing issues that had to be taken care of immediately. The flooring was already a major expense and we had received an estimate from another plumber that would have put a financial strain on our family, and would have caused additional damage to our driveway that was not necessary. I called… North Meck Plumbing and Robbie Clark came out the same day and was very understanding of our situation and wanted to make sure everything was taken care of right away so that our family would be safe and have peace of mind. He came to do the job
