My name is Amber Amelingmeier, and I have dedicated my life to capturing the most important moments of people's lives. I thrive on bringing happiness, excitement, and fun to any session. I photograph much of my own life with my wonderful husband, adorable toddler, and three sweet rescue dogs and so understand how important it is that the emotions from your special day are felt every time to look at my images.
Amber was our photographer for our wedding at the end of October. We cannot stress this enough, she made the entire experience absolutely amazing. Her professionalism, creativity, passion, energy, and positive attitude shown through for the entire day. We loved her so much that we extended her hours to stay longer!
Weddings are a huge investment, you've probably already figured that part out. I get it, I'm a budget kind of person myself but if you love my style and you feel something when you look at my images then let's make magic together! Count me in! I am absolutely always down for hiking to secluded spots, shooting barefoot on the coast and making the very most of YOUR epic love.

Amber was AMAZING! We couldn’t have dreamed of a better experience. Her bubbly personality and easy-going attitude was refreshing on our wedding day. I was the mother of the bride, and we financed the October 2019 wedding at the beautiful Sand Rock Farm in Aptos. There aren’t enough words to express how much we love Amber! Our engagement and wedding photos look like they came from a fairytale. Her eye for color, staging, and poses is exceptional. Having Amber take our wedding photographs was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From our first phone call with her to receiving our full gallery, she has been professional, fun, generous, and responsive. Neither of us particularly loves having our picture taken, but it was actually fun!
