First time coming to an auto repair in Stamford and I chose Stamford Auto Repair. I came during my lunch break to see if they can change an ignition coil to be replaced. The employee who helped me was Isaac. He was very kind suggested for me to leave the car there and gave me a ride back to work. I came back after I was done and my car was ready. Pricing was affordable and service was great. Highly recommend this location.

Nice people- twice in two weeks they handled emergencies for me right away- car was disabled and needed a fuel pump- and somebody hit my front bumper- one side hit the ground- they fixed it fast! Reasonable prices and so helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Sylvia and her crew were just unbelievable!! It was Saturday and I had electrical issues with my truck and they just took care of it!! Professional, neat and absolutely wonderful!! I totally recommend them for all your automotive repairs!! Great great experience!!

I brought my car into Stamford Auto Repair for a pretty major oil leak it was having. It is a pretty common issue with my car but I live in an apartment so I don't have a garage I can do the fix myself in. There are two issues I have after paying Stamford Auto Repair to do the work. The first - I included the part number needed in my service request. The OEM version from Toyota/Lexus could be found easily for $50-60 online from a few different places. Stamford Auto Repair quoted me $125 for the same part. I brought this up with them but they claimed they can't compete with the prices online. To

CAUTION !!! AVOID THIS PLACE EVEN IN CASE OF EMERGENCY REPAIR. I WAS SCAMMED. THEY CHARGED $474 FOR AN AUTO PART THAT ONLY COSTS A MAX. OF $200 ANY WHERE IN ENTIRE US. WHEN I ASKED THEM WHY THEY WERE CHARGING ME SO HIGH THE ANSWER WAS LIKE " IF YOU DON"T KNOW THE ACTUAL PRICE OF BEFORE YOU COMMIT TO BUY THE SERVICE, WE TAKE THE ADVANTAGE".

Had them install a brand new new tie rod and drag link and THEY NEVER GREASED THE BOOTS.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Greasing the boots is common knowledge for any experienced mechanic. Would have taken literally 5 minutes and costs the shop less than $1.
Edit: You would have installed subpar parts and charged me a 100% markup. I chose to go with top quality Teraflex parts for my vehicle. I find it funny that this was your response. Anything to not take responsibilty for a mistake on your end.

I absolutely recommend this place for your auto needs! I had a great experience. The gentleman that helped me, Greg, was an absolute angel! Very honest and so professional and helped to get my issue resolved quickly and thoroughly so I could get back on the road. Despite having tire problems, the staff here were so friendly that I was laughing and having a great time. Who would have thought having car troubles would be one of the most enjoyable parts of my trip. Thank you Stamford Auto Repair!

I couldn’t have had a better experience with Sylvia and Greg this week. They were immensely helpful and quite literally saved my life when my car was having serious issues. I stopped by without an appointment very upset about my car and they happily accommodated me despite being very busy. Their team was able to immediately identify the issue. The necessary parts for my car arrived the next day and my car is now in perfect condition. I highly recommend this auto repair shop!!

I had a FANTASTIC experience with Isaac and his team, who were extremely accommodating, efficient and professional. After calling at 8am with a broken exhaust pipe, Isaac told me to come in and saw me immediately. He quickly diagnosed the problem, found the replacement part and installed it -i was on the road again by 1pm.
While the work was quality and my car is running perfectly, the best part of the experience was that Isaac and his team have a real understanding of customer service. Knowing I was stranded without a car and needing to get back home to work, Isaac had one of his employees drop
