I had a battery die in the parking lot at the nearby Chipotle. The representatives I spoke to were very understanding and were able to help me. The battery I got was a bit expensive, but the mechanic I spoke to did offer and attempt to get a cheaper one brought in when I expressed that view. I ended up buying the battery recommended to me and it's been working great!

These guys are my go-to for NY State Inspections. I've been going there for years. They are consistently efficient and professional. You do not need an appointment. Just come in. They'll get you in & out quickly. And with Covid-19, we go there for full-service gas pumping. Everyone is safe, and their location is close to everything we do.

Went in for an inspection and was told that my vehicle failed for a strut leak. However, it is specifically outlined in 15 CRR-NY 79.21 that a strut leak is "not a cause for rejection". Instead they tried to explain I needed to pay $1,000 to make it road legal.

Chris canavan at this location to used to be in downtown Greenwich more recently Port Chester is a wonderful mechanic he's honest fair kind I have bought three cars from them so far never had a problem with any of them but he has back them up 100%call 203-8697860 to talk to Chris and get your car taken care of or buy a new one

I have brought my car in twice to have snow tires mounted for winter. Both times, they have managed to mount the tires incorrectly so that they rotate in the wrong direction (the tires are prominently marked as to which way they should rotate). This is simple stuff that shouldn't be missed - let alone twice. What else would they fail to do properly if I brought my car in for service there?
They also bait and switch on their already high pricing. The price quoted on the phone was not the price asked for when the job was done.
That said, they are in a very convenient location.

I was stopped near this gas station by a police officer because I had two brake lights out. I pulled into the station and asked if someone could put bulbs in for me. A young man put one bulb in. I asked for the second bulb. He asked if I was sure as each bulb would be $20.00. I was shocked. I asked for the owner. Questioning the price he said "that's right. Because you are not a regular customer". Needless to say I left with one Bulb!!!

I was in a pickle with a volvo that was shaking a lot during acceleration! Chris at Ridge Street was AWESOME -- over the phone with a description of the symptoms, he was able to confidently tell me exactly what he would do to to confirm his hypothesis. We brought the car in and it worked out really well -- he did the diagnostic and confirmed his suspicion. There was no pressure to get the car fixed with him, and he told us that we could still drive the car and got us on on merry way. After getting our day done, we simply dropped the car off at the gas station later that night. They fixed

STAY AWAY...even if it's a simple oil change. We went there for an oil change on our Lexus and they came over with a laundry list of things that needed "Immediate Attention!"
The most egregious was their claim that our front brake rotors and pads were worn and dangerous. Ironically we had put in new front rotors and pads at our local Lexus dealership two months earlier.
The owner said that our air suspension was iffy and that they also needed attention. Because of his claim that we needed front rotors, we knew that this place was a ripoff clown show.

I live five minutes from this station and me and my dad both use them for everything. A couple weeks ago I got a flat tire down the street from this shop and Omran the owner came to get me, fixed me up in twenty minutes and I was on the road again. It was like my own personal pit stop. If you're looking for good dependable guys to work on your car, come here.

Thankfully, I haven't had many service issues with my cars, but these guys are great for NY State Inspections. You can drive right in and you're next in line. Or, call ahead and find out if there are cars already in line. Rye Ridge shopping center is right across the street, so you can make good use of your waiting time by getting a bite to eat or do some shopping. There are some other Inspection stations in this area that tell you you need an appointment. When I've dealt with them, they've been efficient and friendly.
