Cumberland Animal Hospital is a privately owned small business that is a product of our community, built for our community. Being a part of our community and sharing our passion for animals is an integral part of who we are.
We share our love of animals and our commitment to veterinary education with the youth in and around our surrounding counties by assisting with reading days at county libraries, participating in school career days, giving in-class demonstrations and instruction, giving class tours of the hospital, and intern programs.

I have been a customer of Dr. Hazelgrove's for approximately 8 years. I cannot say enough nice things about her, or her staff. They always greet me with a smile and are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about any concerns I ever have about my pet's medication or well-being. Dr. Hazelgrove is one of the best vets around.

The health and comfort of your pet being foremost, he or she will have a tailored pain management program prescribed by the Doctor, as well as a personal technician to stay with your pet. The personal technician caring for your pet will prepare him/her for surgery, monitor your pet during surgery with digital monitoring and a caring touch, and stay with your pet until fully recovered after surgery.
Right under our noses, our pets can be dealing with the discomfort and health effects of periodontal disease or other oral health issues. According to the American Veterinary Dental Society, 80% of dogs and 70% of cats have oral disease by the age of 3. It is the most frequently diagnosed health problem in pets!

Been going there for 10 years. 4 cats, Umbrella Cockatoo, and various small animals. Recently, our Himalayan was very ill, end life condition due to old age. Exhibited fear and occasional loud screams. Called Dr Hazelgrove, albeit near closing (approx. 4:15-4:30) to request an intervention and put him to sleep and end the suffering.. We were told by receptionist no more appts but she offered to go ask the Dr. The receptionist came back on and stated the Dr. said the soonest would be the next morning 8am. Maybe we expected a little more compassion. Maybe we just expected too much!

We are very grateful for Dr. Hazelgrove and her amazing staff at Cumberland Animal Hospital. Being local and always available for emergency calls...Dr. Hazelgrove offers compassionate, professional and knowledgeable veterinary care to our community. Our little boy~ Beaudy came home after neuter surgery fully awake and ready for cuddling after spending a day of loving treatment at CAH. It meant the world to me when he was brought out to me and I was ask "Are you sure you want to take him home?"...they love him too!❤

Dr. Hazelgrove has taken such good care of my fur babies for at least 8 years now! I found a Blue Heeler puppy that had parvo, and she saved his life!!! He's happy and healthy now! My Jack Russel terrier just had surgery yesterday, and they did an amazing job of making sure she was taken care of! L💓VE the whole staff there! Highly recommended!
