Rivka Singer Photography is an NYC and Long Island based portrait photography studio that offers a unique experience designed to capture the delicate beauty & joy of new life. Located in Roslyn, Long island, in Nassau County and near to NYC, we specialize in vibrant, polished & inspiring portraiture for maternity, newborn and baby.
Services
Each session includes Rivka's time & creative talent, extensive post-session editing, order preparation & fulfillment, and custom design work. A la carte prints start at $25 for 5x7 and smaller. All portraits are printed on high quality matte finish paper with a lustre coating for longevity and fingerprint resistance.
My warm, inviting studio is located in Roslyn, Long Island in Nassau County, about a 40 minute drive from Manhattan. The light streams in as soon as the sun rises and stays lovely and airy all day. I would describe my style as organic, colorful and inspired.
Using my style of photography as a compass, I have sourced an extensive collection of props all over the US, as well as internationally from countries as close as Canada and as far as Australia.I'm constantly receiving packages filled with gorgeous goodies for your little ones. Vessels of all shapes, materials and sizes include: bowls, crates, boxes, baskets, and antique finds.

Rivka made our newborn photo session truly special by creating a warm and welcoming environment that made us feel comfortable and happy. She is very friendly and showed her professionalism and talent through the beautifully detailed set ups and ability to handle our preemie twins so well. Working with Rivka was a delight! She did an AMAZING job with my daughter’s photo session. Rivka is a professional in every sense of the word. Her patience and charisma allowed my daughter to feel at ease, thus bringing out her smile and laughter. Rivka provided snacks, wardrobe and dressing table. The only thing you need to do is show up. What an amazing experience! Rivka was awesome! So talented, nice, gentle, patient and professional. She was so great with my kids, making them feel comfortable and right at home. Came across Rivka’s Instagram page while I was searching for a newborn photographer for my baby girl. Looking at her page I fell in love with all the outfits, setups, and colors. It was clear that I had to book her for my baby girl’s newborn photo shoot.

Rivka was recommended to me through a friend and from the moment I saw her Instagram photos I knew I had to have her as my newborn photographer. But the actual experience with her exceeded all my already high expectations. I’m still in awe of how amazing she is with babies. She is honestly the baby whisperer. I never write reviews but scheduling our newborn session with Rivka was one of the first and best decisions we ever made with our son. She is extremely professional but also very personable and her work is flawless. Her years of experience and eye for detail was reflected in the way she was able to pose our newborn in the cutest positions. She planned all the cute outfits and backgrounds but still asked and cared for our input. We love our pictures and definitely recommend her.

Where do I begin!!! Rivka was such a joy to work with! We met two years ago with our first daughter, and I instantly knew I would be back with our second. Here we are with our second, and Rivka did not disappoint. She is patient and has a magic touch with babies, and was wonderful with my whole family. Our newborn session went seamlessly, and Rivka was calm and great with our newborn, and also easily managed to get our active toddler to focus and capture beautiful family shots. Where do I even begin with Rivka, she is so talented and did an amazing job with our newborn and family pictures. She was so patient with my fussy baby and was able to soothe him. From the minute I walked into the studio I was immediately put at ease with her. She took care of feeding, changing, and soothing my baby and gave me a much needed break.I can't thank her enough for such a pleasant experience I had. I absolutely love her! My baby girl was a tough one- never wanting to let go of me and crying at all times. Rivka worked her magic and was able to get great photos! She even let me come another day to finish the photoshoot to make sure she had enough for what I paid for. I cannot rave enough about her!
