The Painter

Mark is very ethical, detail-oriented and communicative. His vast experience shows as he takes the time to not only thoroughly prep a house to make sure the paint job will last as long as possible and protect the house exterior. He will not rush through a job, even if it's taking longer than expected, and works hard in the physically demanding job of being a house painter. He's very responsive throughout the job, and he's an extremely nice person to boot.

We chose Mark to paint the exterior of our house and there's a reason it takes a few months to get on his schedule, he does a thorough job, doesn't cut corners and a perfectionist. He removed all of the light fixtures, downspouts and even the doorknobs of the doors he painted. There was paint everywhere it should be, and none where it shouldn't be when he was done.

He's an unassuming guy who's genuinely nice and does his job with regard for your personal property, which doesn't always happen with construction projects, leaving our house as he found it (but with

Mark's bid to paint my bedroom was a whopping 700 bucks less than the large company that gave me a quote.

If there's a downside it's that Mark works alone, so he can't finish a job as fast as a company that sends a crew in. But he's very thorough and good. I was extremely happy with the result.

He painted my master bedroom and bathroom in two days time. And it looks amazing.

I would give Mark 10 stars if I could. His extremely fair pricing and the unreal attention to detail were very welcome. He does everything right the first time and is very easy to work with. I wish we had more in the service industry like him.

The Yelp reviews lead me to Mark Silva, The Painter . I had gotten several other bids for painting the exterior of my home which I found confusing while comparing prices. Mark gave me a very affordable quote. But should I take the lowest bid? I chose Mark based on yelp reviews, affordability, and overall impression of Mark. He was able to start the job within a week's time and showed up promptly. The week that Mark painted for us, was the hottest July on record reaching 105* degrees but that didn't deter or slow him down!
First he started by pressure washing the house to clean the surface

Mark painted the exterior of our home. The house was a mess paint peeling. Mark prep the house and our sheds my husband and I were so impressed and hadn't started to paint. Then the painting began oh boy what a difference . Mark even had a little helper our dachshund. We have three dachshunds he was so patient with there barking.
