I was craving soul food and placed a delivery order with Turp's kitchen thinking I would be able to get it from here. My meal arrived quickly and was still warm. I ordered cheesesteak eggrolls, fried chicken wings, mac & cheese, potato salad and cornbread. The eggrolls were not as crispy as they should be and didn't have enough meat for their size. They did come with a spicy ketchup that paired with it well. The wings were seasoned well but didn't have that crispy crunch I look for. The Mac & cheese was like a tasty homemade dish. The cornbread didn't look or taste

I ordered through UberEats. I originally ordered the turkey wings, but I received a call that they were all out of turkey wings. It came highly recommended, so I’ll have to try again another day. My meal- fried chicken wings, yams & collard greens. It was very good! My husband had the crab cakes. They were small but he said the taste was good. My only disappointment was that I paid for cornbread but didn’t receive it. I really wanted it with my meal. My first time ordering from this place & it definitely won’t be my last.

We ordered three platters two fried fish and one chicken wings with macaroni and cheese, string beans and collard greens and none of it was good. First, I only received 3 pieces of fish instead of 4; however, that is okay as I only ate one piece. The collard greens tasted like glory greens, the string beans had no taste, the fish and the chicken wings had no seasoning and the wings don’t even look as if they were floured before fried. The yams tasted like nothing but cinnamon and dry as a bone. First and last time going to this place.

We ordered delivery through DoorDash when there was still tight restrictions on in door dining, and the food arrived after after almost an hour. This probably didn't help our food being soft and mushy when it arrived. The jumbo shrimp and wings were pretty good, but the cheesesteak eggroll was all sorts of disappointing. The way it was just stuffed into the box with random squirts of siracha does not really make you want to eat it. The eggroll texture was not crispy at all and it ended up being more wrapping than filling. Hopefully the food is better when you can actually eat at the restaurant

Audacity is clearly the word for 2021! The audacity of this establishment for calling this concoction Baked Mac & Cheese. I still decided to taste it and it tasted just like it looked! I really had high hopes looking at some of the photos on here, but this platter went right into the trash. Hopefully this was just an off night for this business, but I would never try it again... they tried it enough for the both of us!

Really wanted to give this place another chance as my first experience wasn't that great but being a transplant from the south I miss soul food, and not having to be the one to always cook it. Absolutely regret trying again.. not one, but TWO.. bright red hairs found in my daughters chicken rice bowl. Not only was that meal down the drain now I feel like I can barely hold mine down. Smh.

I ordered through doordash one night i was craving for fried fish. I saw Turp Kitchen llc come up under Black owned & decided to give them a try! I ordered a fried fish platter with candied yams & mac & cheese. The food was really good. The fish nice and crispy and moist in the inside. I also ordered sides(greens, Potato salad, and Banana pudding and an order of lemon pepper wings ) All really good & will order again! Ohh, only thing, the banana pudding just taste like pudding.

Had the chicken wings platter with mac and cheese and string beans. Mac and cheese was great and the beans were good but a little too salty. The chicken is very good but the price is really high ($16) for just 4 wings and two sides. They should at least add in a leg or thigh or otherwise lower their prices. I'll come back if they do either

I am so sad I ordered from here 😔 first off the macaroni was sweet the greens were super salty and the fish smh first off it was all broke up like it was picked over it had so much grease in it the grease had to be old and the “cheesesteak” egg rolls are misleading as hell first it’s not an egg roll and you only get one but you won’t even eat that so it doesn’t matter just a overall disappointment
