My company had breakfast and lunch catered from here yesterday and everyone was extremely satisfied! We had the food delivered and the crew set everything up neatly and labeling what was gluten free.
For breakfast, we had Continental breakfast and French pastry breakfast box. Each box came with a few pastries, condiments and fruit. The chocolate chip muffin was outstanding!
Lunch blew us all away. Each person received a cooler bag that contained our box lunch, dessert, beverage and ice pack. They provided both regular and gluten free options. I had the Harissa grilled chicken w/pomegranate

I am adding a star to my review rating as I realize my negative comments, while factual, only reflect one aspect of their business. The manner in which they handled the goof in their proposal still rankles, but I have to say that other aspects were positive. Their ability to customize the menu and the fairness of the food pricing were positives. It's just a shame their handling of the proposal prevented us from trying their food and enjoying their service.

We hired 12th Street catering, and were very excited about the gorgeous cheese platter (I'm still sad that I cannot try it out) but the weather was AWFUL for our event (snow and rain) and we ultimately had to make the call for safety of all, to cancel. As a nonprofit, I tried my best to get them to work with us, and they did. They made an already stressful situation a lot better by being empathetic and understanding people. Thank you very much, Maureen and also Victoria.

We just held a surprise party the timing of which surprise us too. With the help of 12th st we pulled off an elegantly casual event with 7 days notice. Thank you for the Sunday and late night emails. The food was excellent and we got many comments from guests that night and the next day about how perfect the menu and execution was. The staff was both friendly and professional. I couldn't imagine a better coordinated and delicious outcome.

Not only was this the best wedding food I've ever had, but it was probably in my top 10 meals and that's coming from two people who are OBSESSED with food! All of our guests said how amazing the food was and it was truly unbelievable. For appetizers we had: grilled lambchops with a lavender dipping sauce, ahi tuna sesame cones, olive oil sweet cakes with goat cheese, and jumbo shrimp cocktail. We cut out the cheese display because of the price, but because Marianne was such an amazing vendor and host, she threw it in as a surprise for us all! The main course was a buffet style of pumpkin

Our family has had a relationship with 12th Street Catering for many years, all the way back to eating mexican food at their location in the Reading Terminal 20+ years ago. When we found out that 12th Street was one of the preferred caterers for the National Museum of American Jewish History, it was a no brainer. They created our perfect menu, bloody mary bar (his), margarita bar (hers), an amazingly delicious and beautiful cake...I mean, nothing could have been better. They made suggestions for linens and colors

12th Street catered a fundraiser at the Center for Architecture, and we were incredibly happy with them. Though our first contact was relatively unresponsive, Mark at 12th Street was very accommodating and did whatever he could to make sure our event happened within our budget. He provided expert suggestions for the menu, working with our expectations and requests. Last night Michelle and her team gave me the best gift for my 50th birthday party - an INSANE evening. My guests can't stop raving about the food, drinks and service. I dont have enough kind things to say about Michele - she made my night so special. Michele is more than a caterer - she took care of everything!!! The room looked amazing.
She even let me bring my own alcohol. When she thought we might run out of Vodka, she actually ran out to get more. Seriously - the food stands on its own - unique and delicious. But she is the total package.

12st catered our wedding of 250 this past June. Genna was incredible. So on point and easy to work with. Food was delicious, certainly a highlight of the wedding. Two words: polenta stack. Two more: Greek quesadilla. One more: sliders. Staff was very courteous and professional. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. We also looked at a few other places early on and this was by far the most reasonably priced.

12th Street Catering just catered a large party at my new apartment. From the moment I began the discussion about the event with Michelle Leff, it was a great experience. Her positive energy and expertise regarding what works in any situation , made me confident from the start that my party would be perfect. She took care of the flowers, all displays and linens. The flowers selected were a work of art.. She also surprised me by putting my business logo on all the card label that identified the food.

We had a company holiday party which included a cocktail hour, hors d'oeuvres and buffet dinner for over 30 people.The food was excellent and the service of the staff impeccable -- friendly, helpful, professional and to a person, a pleasure to work with. We use 12th Street Catering for business breakfasts and lunches at my office. They are very nice and have a lot of good foods. They have gluten free and vegan, vegetarian options. The presentation is very clean and professional. We are suppose to have net 30 days terms but, the person from their AP office was calling before the 30 days to get the money for this two day business meeting. I happened to be on vacation and paid the moment I came back. Otherwise, they are easy to work with and mostly on time with deliveries.

I went to a wedding catered by 12th street yesterday. there were serious pros and cons. pros being that they went completely out of their way to make vegan options. especially great considering the two brides were not even vegan! they did smart things like make pasta and put the cheese AND nuts on the side, they labeled EVERYTHING for allergies, and all the caterers had a great smile and terrific attitude. I've had this catering company a lot of times as part of business lunches, and every time it's been great. The first time I had it, I had a sandwich and it was so good I had to ask where they got the food from.
Today, I had the veggie wrap and it was so good I had to review. When was the last time you could taste mushrooms and individual veggies in a plain-old, bland catered lunch?! This place is really good if you need to cater an event (from your attendee's perspective), bottom line.
