Finney Family Dentistry has a rich tradition in serving the Marion, Ohio community and surrounding areas since 1936. Finney Family Dentistry was founded by Dr. Harold "Ray" Raymond Finney, after graduating from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1936. He attended school with financial assistance from the Daughters of the American Revolution.

This famous Finney Family Dentistry landmark originated at the Prospect St. office in 1970 as a fifty-five-gallon tank, built into the wall of one of the dental operatories. Over the years these fish have become one of Dr. Bob's passionate hobbies and part of the family. The fish were moved to the new office in 2006 to reside in a bigger 210-gallon tank which weighs 3000 pounds.

Everyone on staff is friendly and treats you like they are your best friend. They are always on time and my cleanings are perfect. When my husband needed an emergency appointment they got him in that day. They also work well with young children. My seven year old and four year old love going to the dentist there.

Finney Family Dentistry is the best! The whole staff is always helpful and kind. They always take such good care of me. I have been going there for over ten years. Their care for my comfort is always the priority from their greeting when I come in the door to when they walk back out with me when we are done. If I were to start naming individual staff that exceed my expectations the list would include each and every one!

Such a great visit at the dentist!! We seen Paige and Dr Kate today for our cleanings ❤💜 The staff was so friendly and patient!!! They all loved Kys back pack full of goodies she just had to show off... ( including her treasure chest aka her brothers sock..🙄😒😅). Kylynn made the cavity free club and was so excited to get a tooth on the wall . I'm so glad we made the switch to Finneys Family dental

My whole family 6 of us have been going for over 17 years now. I can’t say enough great things about each and every person in this office from the ladies in the front to each person in the back. My 5 year old had to have 5 cavities filled and I was very worried this would be a traumatic experience for him but Dr Kate Finney was amazing. She really knows how to connect with children and make it a fun experience. All her instruments have funny names and she explained each one to him and what they do. I highly recommend her and this practice to anyone, especially little children. Excellent!!!
