Baxter is a 7 year old Poo-Pei. The most expensive pound puppy we know. He is a very well mannered, very bright 25 pound, poodle-shar pei mix that has become a member of our family. The vet recognized the torn ligament and advised us of the options. He had surgery for an ACL tear and had a titanium plate placed in his leg.

After a severe leg injury our GSP couldn't put any weight on his leg at all. After surgery, the atrophy was significant. K9's Chelsea gave a great assessment and was extremely knowledgeable. After months of weekly rehab work he is back to his old self and happy as can be. I can't be more appreciative of their work. If you know how beneficial PT is for a human after a surgery, then you have to treat your pet the same.

The therapist who did my dog's assessment was great and very knowledgeable which is why I gave three stars. However, they weren't really practicing correct distancing for COVID and the worst part was that she didn't wait to warm up the water and when she went to put my dog in the 'cold' water, all this black dog hair started floating to the surface- my dog's fur is white. They don't even clean between each client!! I think it's disgusting, especially at the prices they are charging. YUCK!! I gave my dog a bath the moment I got home.

I took my 3.5year old husky here for rehab on a shoulder injury. The facility was caring and wonderful - the staff was extremely attentive and helped guide my dog to be able to return back to the park and play with his friends without a limp or pain. We enjoy the continued guidance and highly recommend this facility.

My review is based on my pup’s second/last visit. We had an underwater treadmill session (PT for a broken leg). Unfortunately the office manager who was helping him get off of the treadmill didn’t keep him from jumping off the raised machine (not intentional but the staff should be so much more cautious as a jump like that can easily cause a reinjury). It was upsetting and worrisome as he is only 6 weeks from his break and 2 weeks out of his cast. The office manager and owner were apologetic after I called to express my concern, but I don’t feel comfortable with what happened/lack of oversight

We absolutely LOVE this place and especially Chelsea! She goes above and beyond to help our little Inu girl out with her bad back. We were told 2 years ago Inu would need surgery ... she was shaking because she was in so much pain and would drag her back feet. We consistently bring Inu here and she is back to running around like a wild woman that she is. We are so happy we found them! On top of that, Chelsea does such a great job making K9 a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Inu gets so excited to go! Whenever I tell her we are going to see Chelsea she gives me a head tilt and waits by the door

Top-notch treatment for our aging dog who leaps into the car knowing he'll be seeing Tammy and getting the care he needs. So lucky to have found this gem.

Maddie had knee surgery this year and can't say enough about the entire staff at K9 Body Shop. They really helped her build her strength and muscles back up so she can truly enjoy being a dog again. They knew she was a timid dog and helped me work with her and she became more comfortable as time went on. Nothing but great things to say.

I've been bringing my pup Gladys here for almost two years now. These folks know their stuff, they have continually helped out my dog who has issues with her back legs. Absolutely worth the money, my dog is much happier/able to move easier due to their work.

This practice features many compassionate and knowledgeable therapists. The facility is also clean. Thank you so much to Jane and everyone else who made contact with my Mogely. While we were only here twice, I can tell the service is nothing short of exceptional. If services are needed for any of my future pets, I will not hesitate to utilize this facility (which is very far from where I live and I pass other PT facilities on the way). Highly recommend!

I've seen such great results with my dog Mya! The treatments aren't just for post op recovery-they have helped decrease the amount of pain my older dog is in. I didn't want to do medication constantly for the rest of her life but didn't want her to suffer either. I know that her quality of life is better since coming here. This is the place to get quality care for your pet. Everyone is consistently kind and focused on doing their best for Mya.

We have brought our shepherd to see Tammy and her crew for the past 2+ years starting when I was frustrated with her lack of recovery after a chronic low back (and/or psoas) injury issue. Following extensive work with the water treadmill and hands-on work to release the tension in her low back our happy girl returned to being the playful dog she was before the injury. She's now 11 1/2 years old and we receive compliments from her veterinarian and her ophthalmologist about what great physical shape she's in and how good her back mobility looks compared to other old shepherds. Physical therapy made a world of difference for my dog after two knee surgeries. The surgeries were a year apart on the same knee and after the second one I could see she had lost a lot of strength in that leg and needed a little something extra to fully heal. After a few months of the water treadmill I saw a huge improvement. My dog is feeling like her old self and so much happier! All of the staff at K9 Body Shop are fantastic, they understand all dog types and temperaments and make the experience for your dog very comfortable. She's improved so much that we're close to ending therapy

Physical therapy for my dog after knee surgery significantly improved his mobility and pain. I have also used them to help to improve strength in my aging poodle which increases his balance and seems to reduce stiffness in his hind legs.

I appreciate receiving exercises for me to have the animals do at home as well as showing me how to massage areas of tension on my dogs that I am sure helps in recovery.

The K9 body shop is great! Our dog is seeing significant results in just a few short weeks. We've been taking her to the water tank treadmill due to a slipped disk. Chelsey did a full body exam to make sure everything else was doing okay and gave us prescriptive exercises to do at home. The service has been genuine, thorough, and tailored to our pups need. We've had a great experience and recommend the shop 100%!

The team at K9Body Shop is amazing. They really care about you and your pet, they are extremely friendly and understanding. Their pricing is extremely reasonable as well. I have been taking my 10-year-old dachshund to see Jane for about 6 months, and she has improved my dogs quality of life. When I started, my dog could barely walk, he was in a lot of pain after a back injury. After a few sessions of the underwater treadmill and Jane's magic touch, he has gotten a new lease on life. Thank you K9 Body Shop for all that you do.

We took our senior Am Staff mix here for many years and feel strongly it’s what kept him going despite his many physical issues (arthritis everywhere, degenerate myopathy, numerous injuries). His mobility was greatly improved after each visit and there was a noticeable difference in his energy and ability to walk if we missed a week. Tammy and Jane are amazing at what they do and so compassionate - they treated Boston as one of their own and he absolutely loved them. Every time we walked through that door he had to say hello and give each of them a kiss before he could go swimming. I will forever

We have been going to the K9 body shop for a few years upon recommendation from our vet. Our senior dog enjoys swimming the most but everything they offer is done professionally with compassion and genuine concern for the welfare of your pet. Boston likes to greet everyone and give them a lick before he dives in and swims in circles for the entire 30 minutes. He has terrible arthritis in his legs and spine - going to the body shop has added years to his life.

I take all my dogs to Tammy for one simple reason, they obviously feel better after they see her. And I recommend her to all my friends who have dogs. As a dog ages -- or if they are regular athletes -- they need physical therapy every bit as much as we do. But it's hard to find someone who can help a dog feel better in a noticeable way. Thankfully, some people just have that gift of healing and it's clear that Tammy does. She uses a few different hands-on methods to help my dogs' aches and pains go away. I can tell they love the way she makes them feel -- they race to greet her
