There are six techniques to demonstrate when you test for a White Belt on the tenth class. Stripes on this belt are short-term goals, and other belts to follow give mid-range rewards of progress.

Services
Our camp counselors are all teenagers and young adults who have been training at Imperatori Martial Arts for many years. These enthusiastic and skilled counselors understand how to be great role models to your children, and each do an excellent job of helping Joey teach great karate and jiu-jitsu in a fun, memorable summer camp setting.
Parents, our parties are for martial artist kids or beginners, ages 4 to 12 and their friends and family. What better way to celebrate your child's birthday than with an activity they love? Let us help you celebrate your birthday party or special occasion with a fun and exciting party they won't forget.
Every class is a complete body workout executing full-power boxing punches and karate kicks on a heavy bag, while incorporating resistance bands and weights to achieve that sculpted body you've always wanted! There are no uniforms or sparring (just wear workout clothes). Try each class free once, then purchase an attendance card for $120 that allows ten visits.

I’ve been training Gracie Jiu Jitsu for almost 2 years at Imperatori. Steve Brown and his team of skilled instructors have been absolutely fantastic since day one. For anyone on the fence or tentative about getting started in Jiu Jitsu, I promise you Imperatori Martial Arts has the most friendly, welcoming environment to do so. Without question the best martial arts venue in Atlanta. Imperatori Karate combines many decades of classical and American karate, PKA, jujitsu, boxing and other martial arts. The classes range from pre-school programs to sparring for professonal fighters. The jujitsu programs are expertly conducted by Gracie trained Back Belts. Our daughter joined three years ago and she absolutely loves it. Mr. Armando and his awesome team of instructors are focused on developing the kids, the program is great and TL is always a joy greeting every family member with a smile. This is the only studio that I've seen parents so engaged. We love it so much that we decided to purchase the black belt program, it's well worth the investment. Bring your kids, they will quickly become part of the Imperatori Family.

This school is great...I have been to a few. These guys really stress the practicality of techniques for the beginners' self defense and the safe practice for all students The instructors and upper belts are friendly and patient, while the "regulars" upper or lower belts are very welcoming and no one makes anyone feel dumb or less than. This is a very respectful atmosphere where; one can break a sweat, gain confidence, and learn something in a "hands on" environment.

I have been taking karate here for over 20 years off and on and jiu jitsu for about 4 years. My wife also does martial arts here off and on as well. They have a great kid program as my 4, 6 & 7 year all do martial arts here as well. They all started here when they were 3. This is a great place to go to learn martial arts and stay in shape for the whole family.
