Dr. Block was born in Fremont, California. A third-generation dentist, he is proud to follow in his grandfather and father's footsteps by providing quality, compassionate dental care to his patients. He attended San Jose State University before going on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California dental school, where he served as a member of the dental school faculty for two years after graduation.

My teeth have never been in better shape. Dr. Jim Block is the best dentist that I've ever had. His staff is terrific. They take time to answer any questions that I have regarding upcoming procedures and provide insight on maintaining healthy teeth and gums. The office creates a very friendly and welcoming environment.

I thought I was getting good dental care from my former dentist, but I realized that I wasn't getting the best when I started going to Dr. Block's office. He and his staff our top-notch: well-educated, well-trained, experienced, fun, and caring. I've had my teeth cleaned by both Aileen and Julia, and I always know they do a 100% thorough job, leaving zero plaque and calculus behind...my teeth feel smooth and look white!! Best and most honest practice around. I have been seeing Jim since I was about 3 years old, coming in regularly for cleanings and minor tooth issues, I have also done his 6 month smiles braces and they worked AMAZING i would highly recommend Jim and s=his staff, you won't find services like this any where else in fremont. Thanks Jim and staff for always making me feel at home in the office and taking good care of my teeth!

Been going to Dr. Block for years, and he is a terrific dentist/doctor! He recently recommended that I try some new nighttime appliances - the change in my sleep and health has been nothing short of life-changing. Dr. Block is wonderful; he and his staff care about the whole person, not just their teeth. I have told my family and friends all about him, and they love him, too! My 95 year-old mother, my 25 year-old daughter, and myself have been a patient of Dr. Block's for probably close to 10 year now and we all love him! He is so easy to talk with and very friendly and helpful. I am glad that we have Dr. Block! He is a fabulous dentist and very caring. His office is very modern and clean and his staff is very professional also very friendly and accommodating. I rate Dr. Block and his staff A+++ to infinity and beyond.
