You have just taken a step towards self-growth. If you are visiting my website you're at the very beginning of the process of exploration and change. I know that the idea of starting therapy is both exciting and frightening. Whether you've been in therapy before, or if this is the first time you're considering it, it's a brave and bold move on your part and I'd like to acknowledge that right from the start.
I believe that the most courageous and healthiest people are the ones who at some point seek out therapy. They just don't realize their strengths yet. As a results-oriented therapist, I believe that each person has their own inner wisdom to guide them toward a better future.

People enter therapy for a variety of reasons including anxiety, depression, stress, marital problems, job issues, difficult transitions (such as relationship break-ups/divorce, career change, empty nest, etc.), addictions, low self-esteem to name a few.
The common thread usually is being unhappy with the way your life is going, wanting to improve the quality of your life, not knowing exactly how to get to where you want to be, and having the courage to reach out and ask for help.Studies have shown that talk therapy helps people to feel less isolated, less upset, less lonely, less anxious and less depressed.

My experience has guided me towards using a holistic approach to therapy. I have seen first hand the connection between mind, body, and soul. When people feel poorly they tend to neglect every aspect of self-care leading to a vicious cycle of: "the worse you feel-the worse you take care of yourself-the worse you feel".
