Just horrible. I had the chopped steak which had been broiled beyond recognition. My wife had one of their "specials", the roast pork covered in a gelatinous gravy. The whole thing was inedible. We took the leftovers home and threw them out. The only thing that was ok was the soup, but $44 dollars is alot for a couple of bowls of soup.

I meet my friends here so often that we never take pictures of the food. But everything I've eaten there has been delicious. Whether it's breakfast,lunch, brunch, or dinner everything always tastes fantastic. There is something on the menu for everyone. The owner is always there and the servers are all terrific!!!! If you want to have a good meal with friends in a casual setting,this is the place. Not noisy so good for conversation and we never get rushed out!!!! Love this place❤️

Flew in from out of town and wanted to grab a quick bite before meeting with family in burbs. I searched for restaurants I could eat at close to my destination. Online it shows Continental Restaurant opens at 7 AM, perfect. But after I’m dropped off, the sign on the window says: open at 8. It’s two years into the pandemic and at a time when restaurants need to be on top of their game, this establishment has dropped the ball in terms of presenting correct information to its potential customer base. Pete is a phenomenal owner who works so hard to ensure quality food, ingredients, staff, and service. Great place to host graduation parties etc. You will have so many portions that you will have leftovers woth incredible value. This is a staple of Buffalo Grove that adds value to the community through both dining and the charitable acts that Pete and his business take on.

We are regular customers and we order food every day.
I'm not looking for an extra care, but every day i have to explain same thing to get exactly how I want. (most of the time to the same person). I feel no care about regular customer.
Everything changed to worse 2 days ago:
Staff member displayed lack of communication skills and spoke to me in a rude attitude and high raised voice.
I can go so on..
But definitely not coming back again!
Please train your stuff properly to deal with the customers.

What a hidden gem. I have been living in Buffalo Grove for six years and decided to try this restaurant today. Gyros sandwich, fries, and clam soup were absolutely delicious. Portions were enough for two meals so value is amazing. The gentleman ringing me out also had impeccible manners and time management, offering a lady to be taken care of first so she could be on her way quickly. And this while they were extremely busy. You do not see old fashioned chivalry like that as much these days. Noted good sir and very much appreciate the example. I will be coming back.
