Services
Planning a funeral can be overwhelming, but you are not alone in this. We're here to support you throughout this journey and make this process one of love, healing, and life celebration. Below is some information to help you get started, but you can contact us at any time if you need help.

When a loved one dies at home or in a place that isn't a healthcare facility, you'll need to contact emergency personnel before they can be taken into our care.If your loved one was under medical care, it's a good idea to call their physician as well. If your loved one dies in a healthcare facility, they will notify the proper authorities, including the funeral home you have chosen to care for your loved one if they know that information.
It is the goal of Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Center to help people complete the relationship with the one who has died and to provide a climate that encourages each person to give and receive emotional support. During the funeral service, family and friends have the opportunity to relate to each other at the deepest levels and find mutual strength.
The number of people choosing cremation has increased significantly in the past few years, yet cremation carries a long tradition and remains largely unchanged. Cremation simply expedites the process of reducing a body to bone fragments through application of intense heat. What is done before or after the cremation is up to the survivors, or up to you.
Honesty, integrity and quality have made Tufts Schildmeyer Cremation Services as the preferred choice among families of Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamilton, Highland and Warren Counties. Answer: We operate our own state of the art cremation facility that is impeccably clean and secure.

We are licensed and regulated by the State of Ohio, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA), Cremation Association of North America (CANA), and the Ohio State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers.
Discover peace of mind with our superior cremation services. When you choose Tufts Schildmeyer for cremation, you'll take comfort knowing that your loved one will always be in our staff's compassionate, capable hands. Because we offer cremations at our very own crematory, your loved one never leaves the shelter of our expert care.

Tufts Schildmeyer is amazing! Recently my mother passed away and Alison took care of everything. It was all beautiful and perfect. No matter how many questions I had or how many calls I made to her, she was so nice and kind through it all. She truly cares about your family and I knew my mom was in good hands. A thank you doesn’t even cover how truly thankful I am.
