Honey Newton is a Certified Nurse Midwife and a Family Nurse Practitioner with degrees from Gonzaga University, the University of Utah, and Colorado Mesa University. She is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Gonzaga University. She started Heart & Hands in 2015 as a small, independent practice and is committed to providing the best medically available care to patients at all stages of life.
She is privileged at North Valley Hospital in Whitefish, Montana. Jeanne Tremper-Baker is a Certified Nurse Midwife. She holds degrees from the Frontier School of Nursing and Case Western Reserve University and has been providing midwifery care in the Flathead Valley for over twenty years. Jeanne is a beloved legend in our community and actively mentors the next generation of health care providers.

Would not go anywhere else. I have gone through 2 pregnancies at Heart and Hands. Both times I was able to do unmedicaded births because of the support of Honey. All of my children see Brooke as their pediatric dr and she is absolutely wonderful with them. Honey is also my primary care giver.. The staff at Heart and Hands is always available when I have questions and never make me feel stupid for asking. Honey is the 1st dr I've ever had that actually listens to me when I say something feels off with my body and she helps me through all of my medical issues.

Honey was very rude and disrespectful to my wife during labor and delivery.
My wife was in excruciating pain and said something was wrong. Honey just told her that she was over exaggerating and trying to milk it.
Turns out she should of done a C-section due to cord being wrapped around baby's neck and baby was not breathing when born.
Would never recommend this clinic should be shut down and honey should lose her lisrnce .

*LONG STORY ALERT* To summerize; I will NEVER recommend or return to Heart and Hands. By the time I had made an appointment I was 3 months without a period and after 8 false pregnancy tests I was very concerned. My appointment was supposed to start at 1:30pm; I arrived at 1:15pm and was given a huge packet to fill out. I finally finished filling it out around 1:45pm and gave it to the front desk staff. I then sat in an almost empty waiting room until 2:15pm when I was finally brought back and went over the exact same questions that were in the packet with a staff member. At 2:45pm while sitting

I love Heart & Hands! Every single person who works there is awesome! All of the midwives are amazing and I’ve loved getting to know them. They treat you with dignity and respect. They talk to each other and consult with each other and you know they all truly care about you. The nurses are efficient and invested in your care. The front desk ladies are seriously so kind and competent. Everyone treats you like family and not just a number (they also treat each other like family which is so refreshing). I cannot even express how much I LOVE this clinic!! Honey, Jeanne, and Misha are all incredible Midwives who seriously care about their patients. If you're looking for expert care, knowledgeable providers, amazing staff, and a beautiful clinic setting, Heart & Hands has it all. I could not be happier with the care I received during my pregnancy and afterwards. Heart & Hands is the best!

I absolutely love Jeanne and Honey! I could not have asked for a better team of coaches to help me birth our sweet baby girl! Not only are they our midwives, they also are our familys primary care providers as well. I had Jeanne and Misha for the birth of our little girl and the emotional and physical support they provided was amazing. Everything went so smooth!

Omgoodness if I could give more I would. Even though she is busy, Honey is such an amazing midwife, so happy my babies were greeted by her while coming Earth side. They care about their mamas and that is very rare. You're not a paycheck when you walk in, you're fellow sister needing assistance with this life changing experience and Honey is just the sister to help. We moved 3 times while I was pregnant from the east coast to the flathead valley. I tried 6 different doctors before finding heart and hands. They are absolutely the best and most caring team. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for an appointment. They are so friendly and they make you feel like part of the family.The care didn't stop after having our daughter. I can’t count all of the times we called in the middle of the night to ask questions. They are now our daughters pediatrician!!

Honey and her team are amazing!!!! Honey has been there for me from day 1 of my pregnancy, thru labor & after recovery. She is an amazing person in & out. Honey will take the best best care of you, she is very supportive, she honestly will go beyond her expectations to take amazing care of you. This is my first pregnancy & i am beyond blessed to have found such a caring amazing Midwife!!! I would 100% recommend Heart and Hands Midwifery and womens health to anyone & everyone!!! :))
