Services
Care at Parkview Manor involves more than medical attention, room and board, and social activities. We consider fulfillment of individual needs as our priority for our residents. Our goal is to help our residents to be as independent as possible so they can reach their highest potential. We ensure self-dignity through an understanding, supportive environment.
Our staff boasts three people with over 20 years of experience at Parkview and eight have over 10 years here. Longevity among our 70+ employees is a measure we take seriously. We believe the lower the staff turnover, the better the service for our residents. That's why our average of over five years of working at Parkview means residents get to know our people and treat them like family.
The facility was owned and operated entirely by the people of the Reinbeck Community and provided the most modern custodial and nursing care in the area. Today majority ownership still belongs within the community. The Board of Directors was then and still is, made up of community members.
The initial group arranged for the necessary financing through the sale of common stock and debentures, raising some $118,000 and engaged the Colonial Homes, Inc. of Clarion, Iowa to act as general contractor's.In 1976, an addition of 8 units plus employee lounge and rehabilitation room was built on the west end of the facility.
