Two co-founders sold their homes in upper Delaware and took a chance on a fledgling gas station and tire repair shop off rural county road, Delaware 26. As they found out later, their initial investment of $90,000 would pay many dividends over the years.

Tried for 5 days to get an appointment at this location - berlin maryland location and millsboro de location - what a fricken mess - never got an appointment - there is an online process where you pick two dates and times and enter online then THEY are supposed to get back to you on the appt dates - never happened - 3 facilities in one area - the problem is i believe they are all under one manager and the poor service propagates across all the facilities - tried to get help via online help - did not work - after i told matt at the ocean view facility that i moved onto firestone - he harassed me

I recently made a reservation at Ocean Area Tire to have some work completed on my vehicle. I was regularly reminded of my appointment through voice mails. I needed to have an oil change, the air pressure in my tires checked, and an air pressure sensor fixed. As I entered the establishment, I was greeted in a warm and friendly manner; the work was completed faster than I expected; and the cost was most reasonable. What more could you ask for from your automotive repair shop? I highly recommend Ocean Area Tire in Long Neck for your automotive needs.

Very dissatisfied about the way this shop treated us. We were in a tough situation when our child was at the beach without us and experienced trouble with their car's brakes. We brought the car to Ocean Area Tire. They quoted us an astronomical price for the brake job, including repairs that were not needed and a timeline that was creating huge problems for us. I told them that we really needed the car, but they were insistent that the extra repairs were essential before the car would be safe to drive. We ended up taking the car out of their shop and to Robert's Repair Service in Bethany

My friend and I were on vacation to ocean city and had a tire pop. Glenn and John were FABULOUS. They helped us to not panic and quickly were able to resolve the situation with a brand new tire and fast, professional service. Not to mention a great price! Had an appointment for an oil change today. They called this morning and confirmed that car would be done by 10:30. Just went to get my car at 11:20 and they said it wasn't done because I didn't have an appointment. Showed them my appointment confirmation and they said oh well only a manager can see that. What? Took my car and I will never return. Oh and I have been using them for years!

First time customer with an early appointment to have tires mounted and balanced. Told at time of appointment (a week earlier) I could wait while the work was being done, but upon arrival I was told to leave my car because they couldn't get to it right away ( at least 3 hours). Naturally I was not happy and persuaded them to find the time to accommodate my appointed time slot. I cannot thank this shop enough... my husband and I were on vacation in Ocean City and as we were leaving, our car felt weird. Turns out a screw got into one of our tires and was about to be flat. I called and explained our situation to the gentleman working the front and he was very empathetic and told me they could see us right away.

A big thank you to the team at this store. My nephew traveling from NY to Bethany beach had his car towed there this Saturday . He had broken down in Dover Delaware with a defective alternator. They were told he needed to get back to NY by Monday to start a new job. They didn't have the part he needed and would not have the car ready till Tuesday. They allowed us to get the parts from Maryland and they would install them if we could get them by 1pm. We got the parts and we got there after 1pm. Flat tire hero's!! This group had been fantastic. George and his team went above and beyond on a Sunday to fix my flat tire. Extenuating circumstances put my cars arrival time close to when his repair team was heading home; yet they stayed to finish the job!
