I have been going to this dentist for a few years now and have always had a good experience. My hygienist was always the same and always super friendly and helpful. However, tonight was the first time I had a different hygienist.
She was extremely rude and condescending. She pointed out every single bad thing I was doing and tried to tell me that "facts" I've been told by other dentists were not true and that I should only listen to her because she has 37 years experience as a hygienist.
After I made my follow up appointment I was sitting in the waiting room and she began talking

I love this office. Everyone here is so friendly and polite and really looks out for their patients. I had a molar removed in 2018 from an infected root canal (done in like 2010) and they helped me get a retainer until I was ready to get my implant. The dentists are always so nice and I really enjoy my experience every time I'm here.

I came to this practice because my dentist, Dr. Matheson, joined the group.
Well, my visit today has my wondering if it’s time to find a new provider and a cleaner, updated facility.
The chair I sat in for my annual cleaning was disgusting! The leather, or whatever material it is, on the arms of the chair is totally cracked to the point that you see the fabric underneath it. Unsanitary! The pink mini blinds and wallpaper had me flashing back at least 30 years.
Most of the staff are friendly and efficient but if they can’t update a worn chair, what else might they be skimping on?

My first visit went well, my hygienist Michelle was very nice and explained everything I needed to know! I apologize I forgot the dentist name but she was very nice and went over everything I needed to know thoroughly, she even complimented me, told me I have pretty teeth! thank you Northfield family dental!

Would give zero stars if possible. My family and I went to this office almost our entire adult lives until recently.
I had 2 root canals done by this office, the first one had to be replaced with an implant and bone grafts in less 3 years because the infection wasn't fully removed. The second root canal is now due for an implant for the same reason.
During the implant process i was overcharged by $997, it took over 5 months and multiple calls to the office which never followed up on inquires. Luckily on my own effort I was able to get in touch with the accounts payable person at their corporate

Wish I could rate this dentist office with 0 stars. The secretaries in the office were very kind so no complaints about them, but during my actual appointment the dentist did not even bother to introduce herself and went straight to dealing with my teeth. She left instantly without giving me an opportunity to ask any questions, it was genuinely rude. I've been a patient at this dentist office for a few years now and I was originally told I only needed one wisdom tooth removed, now 2 years later I am told to get the other 3 removed. It would have been a lot more convenient for me to get them

I've been going to this dentist my entire life (20+ years), and have been seeing the same hygienist for 90% of that time. I recently started seeing a new hygienist who is just as talented, personable, & kind as the last. Not ONCE have I had a bad experience here. The staff is always super sweet and accommodating and Dr. Jagger has always been thorough in answering any/all of my questions. They have a very helpful and friendly staff - one I would recommend to anyone!
