Krystal Cox and Kristen Tarnuzzer began their friendship many years prior to working along side of one another, in which it was an immediate connection. After years of working in separate salons they started working along side one another in a well known salon located in Kennesaw, Ga. Krystal and Kristen always took pride in confiding in one another to further their knowledge and craft.
We are proud to be an education salon, as trends are ever changing, we continue evolving. We are excited to send our entire staff around the world to continue specialized, advanced training with some of the top salons and stylists. From Wella's trend vision, to Nine Zero One Salons training in LA, Bumble and Bumble's education program in NYC, Phorest's training in Dublin, Ireland, to hand tied extensions in AZ!

With tape-ins you will need to get new hair about every 3rd time you need a move up/re-tape. Hand-tieds are more full, provide full head of hair and fill in everywhere and add more volume and length. Anything that is not naturally a part of you or does not naturally grow from your head can be somewhat damaging.

Horrible and overpriced. They are all very sweet ladies and the place is beautiful, however I went in for a bond and balayage and she was rushing the whole process because she had to attend her kids school for lunch. I ended up paying $250 which you cannot see any blonde. I got a “hair mask” it wasn’t anything longer than a minute and my hair feels and smells the same . I wish I would’ve saved my money going else where. Will never be back and will never recommend. If I could give this 0 stars I would. Literally no blonde in my hair even after stating my hair “lifts good” .

Absolutely love this salon! Drive about an hour and a half to get here and so happy with the complete experience. The aesthetic inside is very modern and adorable. Ali is amazing! She has been very genuine and honest about what it would take to get my hair where I wanted it and I'm loving the results. Also, as almost 20 year retail vet I personally enjoy that every time I've been in there I have observed training and education happening on the floor. Speaks volumes to the dedication of the owners to engage and develop their team. Highly recommend 💚💙💜

When looking for a wedding hair stylist for my wedding last year, my sister in law recommended Tori from the Hair Bar to me. To say she exceeded my bridesmaids and I'd expectations was an understatement. She showed up very prepared on wedding day and tackled my 8 bridesmaids hair, my moms hair, and my hair BY HERSELF with plenty of time to spare! I love The Hair Bar! I moved from Pittsburgh early in 2020 and was devastated to leave my stylist -- especially considering it had taken me 5 years of living there to find someone that I liked.
I did a lot of online research, to the point of reading every stylist bio that I could find, and settled on Sarah at The Hair Bar. She's been awesome! She listens very well to my vague, unhelpful comments about what I want and translates it into something really cute. She reads my mind well! I'm so thankful to have found this salon and stylist and really look forward to my appointments.

This place is absolutely amazing! Becca is my stylist and she is always professional, always on time, and her work is amazing! What makes Becca even better is her ability to multi task and be efficient. Love her!
This salon is amazing all around. It is competitively priced and everyone’s work is outstanding.
Also, I love that they’re super family oriented! Becca’s husband and son will frequently bring her coffee or lunch ❤️ Remember, stylists have to eat and have breaks too!

This is my favorite salon I’ve been to. Krystal is amazing at what she does. I’m very picky with my hair and my hair has thinned out some. She is a miracle worker and I always leave there feeling great and confident! I also over tone and do not lift easily. She’s the first person who can get my hair right each time. She takes her time getting to know your hair and you will leave her salon looking great! She’s the best, hands down and her blend is perfect! 10 stars rated!

I went to The Hair Bar excited with minimally dyed hair and asked for a blonde balayage with money pieces. I explained to Jessica who did my hair that I had had it bleached twice before in the past two years as well as 6 months before, had added burgundy Arctic Fox in it. She said that was no issue and proceeded to tell me she could do the blonde balayage easy. However, when she began to bleach she noticed my hair was lifting to red because of the arctic fox. she told me i had two options. The first was to neutralize it with green and it would still be sort of red. The other option was adding in

I absolutely love the salon! Sara K. does such a phenomenal job with my hair services each and every time! The first time I came in, I had very damaged thin hair due to a previous Stylist. She was able to give me the color and cut that I desired, while also providing education and products that have strengthened my hair. My hair is now so much thicker and healthier. She is amazing and I highly recommend her services. I don’t trust my hair with anyone else. The Hair Bar Is always pristine with lots of smiling friendly faces!

Jessica is my new stylist!! 😍 I’m new to Woodstock and was so nervous looking for a new stylist. As a new mom, I don’t always feel how I used to before kids, so my SOUL needed some good hair! Jessica was a great communicator- she understood what I was thinking after talking to her and showing her pictures. She kept communicating with me throughout the process. I would give this salon more than five stars if I could! I went for the first time yesterday, and let me tell you, this is the BEST hair salon I have ever been to! Everyone working was so courteous and professional. From the moment I walked in, to the moment I walked out, I felt so pampered. The receptionist was very attentive and sweet. The girl who did my hair, Jessica Brown, was awesome! I showed her a few different pictures of what I wanted and she NAILED it! I will definitely be returning to this salon in the future. :)

I had an amazing experience at The Hair Bar Woodstock. Not only are the stylists talented artists, but they were also professional, friendly, and well dressed. If you want quality service, and products you need to call this place. The atmosphere of the salon had a lively energy that is hard to find anywhere else. The staff seemed to love their job. Krystal was my stylist. She knew exactly what I wanted without me telling her many details. These girls are pretty much hair sorceresses. If you want to walk out feeling like a goddess this is the place for you. Hot girl summer is upon us.

I had been very comfortable with my previous stylist at another salon and then he moved. So then I was handed over to another stylist, what a bad experience, she was not very personable and the new manager was rude. I found Hair Bar on Yelp and thought I would try it out. Thank you Sarah for a great job on my hair. Seeing a new stylist can cause a little anxiety but you put me right at ease. I really like my hair and look forward to seeing you again.

Just had my hair done after a not so pleasant experience with a different stylist at a different salon. My hair turned out wonderful! Becca was my stylist, I got a cut, melted root, olaplex treatment, and style, and it was so worth the $160! Prices here are different from every stylist, but let me tell you I've never felt so good about spending $180 in my life! Becca so deserves recognition because she fixed a hot mess! Thank you so much! You have no idea the confidence boost a good hair coloring does for a woman. You rock and I'm so appreciative

I moved to Georgia a few months ago and had to start searching for a new hair stylist which is never an easy task. I decided to give the hair bar a try. To be fair, I hadn't had a cut in more than 6 months and I had some residual faded purple hair dye on my ends. I had an appointment with Jessica for a cut and I will say that I actually lucked out on the day of my appointment to squeeze in a color removal/balayage as well. The color removal actually exceeded my expectations as I didn't know what it would take to get my hair back to

Great customer service! After my initial post, I was contacted by The Hair Bar who apologized for the misunderstanding of what service we wanted. They are refunding the additional amount I was charged for an updo and have also offered a free style for either myself or my daughter. I'm new to the area and went in for a first appointment with Krystal. I came in with a blonde ombré that needed a desperate update. Krystal did an amazing job with my new darker brown balayage and gave me an amazing haircut. I was so impressed and got exactly what I wanted. She also worked quickly and I was done in two hours. I highly recommend this salon.

I got a botched haircut last week and was very upset and when I got the botched cut I chose the highest stylist level there was and still the technique and outcome was one of my worst! I went on yelp and found the hair bar and I chose the basic stylist, Stephanie.
I was so impressed by her skills even though I was hesitant to trust another stylist I didn't have much hope but she truly cut my hair and made my curls fall and the front area shape my face perfectly. The product she had created beautiful curls and I have yet to find great product. So all in all, I'm extremely happy and Stephanie

Krysten did an amazing job on my hair! (See the pictures!) She does my highlights beautifully and recently gave me extensions, which match and blend perfectly! I get so many compliments all the time on my hair ever since Krysten put these extensions in! Also, she is great at cutting hair and knows how to do the perfect side-swept bangs. (I feel like with many stylists, they are either more skilled at cutting or coloring, but not both...which makes Krysten a rare magical unicorn because she can do everything really well!)
