Some of our clients require services that can only be supplied by a trained medical professional. Unity 1 Home Health Care employs professional, licensed nurses to manage these services. The skilled nursing services we offer generally assist patients to feel better, function more independently, and learn how to take care of their own health needs.
In addition to skilled nursing services, we offer multiple support services tailored to our clients' needs. We can arrange for transportation to and from appointments that are approved by the Ohio Medicaid PASSPORT Waiver, assist you with making transport plans, and connect you with our transportation coordinator for further help.

Aids never show up, leave when they want, use the clients, don't do their job, get rehired even if they no call no show for a whole week. Aids ask to borrow money, eat and drink what you have, you get left to not know if their is even going to be a aid. Level 1's even left by themselves when they are not supposed to. Bad place to go through for your loved ones.

Maybe we had bad aids or maybe caught them with staffing issues or something. We had issues with aids calling and canceling not sending replacements. We had issues with a particular aid and had to have a nurse come in to advocate for my mom that the care she was receiving was not up to par to say it nicely. My mother had to cancel several important medical appointments due to aids not showing up or on time. It was like the company just didnt know what to do wwith my mom who is pretty much total assistantance. They would send aid wothout basic knowledge of what they were getting into or training

I don't know what I would do without Unity Home Health Care! My husband is so weak that he can hardly get up on his own anymore. It's been very hard on all of us and we are so grateful to have the help we do from Unity! Keeping James at home has left us with some sense of normalcy and comfort during a very difficult situation.

My mother is now gone and I work full-time so it's hard for me to get over and help out my aging father. But, the people at Unity I Home Healthcare are amazing. They so often go out of their way to ensure that my father has what he needs, as they also did for my mother. These women from Unity could never be compensated enough for what they have given my family. There is no limit to the value of the love and compassion they have willingly given. They are a gift and I thank God for them everyday.
